But Jesus gave him no answer. 10 Then SAITH Pilate unto him, Speakest thou not unto me? knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee? 14 And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he SAITH unto the Jews, Behold your King! 15 But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate SAITH unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar. 24 They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which SAITH, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did. 26 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he SAITH unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! 27 Then SAITH he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home. 28 After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, SAITH, I thirst. 35 And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he SAITH true, that ye might believe. 37 And again another scripture SAITH, They shall look on him whom they pierced. JOHN 20 2 Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and SAITH unto them, They have taken away the LORD out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him. 13 And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She SAITH unto them, Because they have taken away my LORD, and I know not where they have laid him. 15 Jesus SAITH unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, SAITH unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away. 16 Jesus SAITH unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and SAITH unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master. 17 Jesus SAITH unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. 19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and SAITH unto them, Peace be unto you. 22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and SAITH unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: 27 Then SAITH he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. 29 Jesus SAITH unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. JOHN 21 3 Simon Peter SAITH unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing. 5 Then Jesus SAITH unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No. 7 Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved SAITH unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea. 10 Jesus SAITH unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught. 12 Jesus SAITH unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord. 15 So when they had dined, Jesus SAITH to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He SAITH unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He SAITH unto him, Feed my lambs. 16 He SAITH to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He SAITH unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He SAITH unto him, Feed my sheep. 17 He SAITH unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus SAITH unto him, Feed my sheep. 19 This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he SAITH unto him, Follow me. 21 Peter seeing him SAITH to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do? 22 Jesus SAITH unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me. --MORE-- |
