JUDGES 7 3 Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and AFRAID, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And it was a custom in Israel, JUDGES 13 12 And Manoah said, Now let thy words come to PASS. How shall we order the child, and how shall we do unto him? 17 And Manoah said unto the angel of the LORD, What is thy name, that when thy sayings come to PASS we may do thee honour? 20 For it came to PASS, when the flame went up toward heaven from off the altar, that the angel of the LORD ascended in the flame of the altar. JUDGES 19 1 And it came to PASS in those days, when there was no king in Israel, that there was a certain Levite sojourning on the side of mount Ephraim, who took to him a concubine out of Bethlehemjudah. 5 And it came to PASS on the fourth day, when they arose early in the morning, that he rose up to depart: and the damsel's father said unto his son in law, Comfort thine heart with a morsel of bread, and afterward go your way. 12 And his master said unto him, We will not turn aside hither into the city of a stranger, that is not of the children of Israel; we will PASS over to Gibeah. JUDGES 21 3 And said, O LORD God of Israel, why is this come to PASS in Israel, that there should be to day one tribe lacking in Israel? 4 And it came to PASS on the morrow, that the people rose early, and built there an altar, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. And it came to PASS, as the ark of God came to Ekron, that the Ekronites cried out, saying, They have brought about the ark of the God of Israel to us, to slay us and our people. 1 SAMUEL 7 2 And it came to PASS, while the ark abode in Kirjathjearim, that the time was long; for it was twenty years: and all the house of Israel lamented after the LORD. 7 And when the Philistines heard that the children of Israel were gathered together to Mizpeh, the lords of the Philistines went up against Israel. And when the children of Israel heard it, they were AFRAID of the Philistines. 1 SAMUEL 8 1 And it came to PASS, when Samuel was old, that he made his sons judges over Israel. 1 SAMUEL 9 6 And he said unto him, Behold now, there is in this city a man of God, and he is an honourable man; all that he saith cometh surely to PASS: now let us go thither; peradventure he can shew us our way that we should go. 26 And they arose early: and it came to PASS about the spring of the day, that Samuel called Saul to the top of the house, saying, Up, that I may send thee away. And Saul arose, and they went out both of them, he and Samuel, abroad. 27 And as they were going down to the end of the city, Samuel said to Saul, Bid the servant PASS on before us, (and he passed on), but stand thou still a while, that I may shew thee the word of God. 1 SAMUEL 10 5 After that thou shalt come to the hill of God, where is the garrison of the Philistines: and it shall come to PASS, when thou art come thither to the city, that thou shalt meet a company of prophets coming down from the high place with a psaltery, and a tabret, and a pipe, and a harp, before them; and they shall prophesy: 9 And it was so, that when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave him another heart: and all those signs came to PASS that day. 11 And it came to PASS, when all that knew him beforetime saw that, behold, he prophesied among the prophets, then the people said one to another, What is this that is come unto the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets? 1 SAMUEL 11 11 And it was so on the morrow, that Saul put the people in three companies; and they came into the midst of the host in the morning watch, and slew the Ammonites until the heat of the day: and it came to PASS, that they which remained were scattered, so that two of them were not left together. 1 SAMUEL 13 10 And it came to PASS, that as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, behold, Samuel came; and Saul went out to meet him, that he might salute him. 22 So it came to PASS in the day of battle, that there was neither sword nor spear found in the hand of any of the people that were with Saul and Jonathan: but with Saul and with Jonathan his son was there found. 1 SAMUEL 14 1 Now it came to PASS upon a day, that Jonathan the son of Saul said unto the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over to the Philistines' garrison, that is on the other side. But he told not his father. 8 Then said Jonathan, Behold, we will PASS over unto these men, and we will discover ourselves unto them. 19 And it came to PASS, while Saul talked unto the priest, that the noise that was in the host of the Philistines went on and increased: and Saul said unto the priest, Withdraw thine hand. --MORE-- |
