JEREMIAH 41 1 Now it came to PASS in the seventh month, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah the son of Elishama, of the seed royal, and the princes of the king, even ten men with him, came unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam to Mizpah; and there they did eat bread together in Mizpah. 4 And it came to PASS the second day after he had slain Gedaliah, and no man knew it, 6 And Ishmael the son of Nethaniah went forth from Mizpah to meet them, weeping all along as he went: and it came to PASS, as he met them, he said unto them, Come to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam. 13 Now it came to PASS, that when all the people which were with Ishmael saw Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces that were with him, then they were glad. 18 Because of the Chaldeans: for they were AFRAID of them, because Ishmael the son of Nethaniah had slain Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, whom the king of Babylon made governor in the land. JEREMIAH 42 4 Then Jeremiah the prophet said unto them, I have heard you; behold, I will pray unto the LORD your God according to your words; and it shall come to PASS, that whatsoever thing the LORD shall answer you, I will declare it unto you; I will keep nothing back from you. 7 And it came to PASS after ten days, that the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah. 11 Be not AFRAID of the king of Babylon, of whom ye are AFRAID; be not AFRAID of him, saith the LORD: for I am with you to save you, and to deliver you from his hand. 16 Then it shall come to PASS, that the sword, which ye feared, shall overtake you there in the land of Egypt, and the famine, whereof ye were AFRAID, shall follow close after you there in Egypt; and there ye shall die. JEREMIAH 43 1 And it came to PASS, that when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking unto all the people all the words of the LORD their God, for which the LORD their God had sent him to them, even all these words, JEREMIAH 46 27 But fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make him AFRAID. JEREMIAH 49 39 But it shall come to PASS in the latter days, that I will bring again the captivity of Elam, saith the LORD. JEREMIAH 51 43 Her cities are a desolation, a dry land, and a wilderness, a land wherein no man dwelleth, neither doth any son of man PASS thereby. JEREMIAH 52 3 For through the anger of the LORD it came to PASS in Jerusalem and Judah, till he had cast them out from his presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon. 4 And it came to PASS in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came, he and all his army, against Jerusalem, and pitched against it, and built forts against it round about. 31 And it came to PASS in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, in the five and twentieth day of the month, that Evilmerodach king of Babylon in the first year of his reign lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and brought him forth out of prison. LAMENTATIONS 1 12 Is it nothing to you, all ye that PASS by? behold, and see if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow, which is done unto me, wherewith the LORD hath afflicted me in the day of his fierce anger. LAMENTATIONS 2 15 All that PASS by clap their hands at thee; they hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem, saying, Is this the city that men call The perfection of beauty, The joy of the whole earth? LAMENTATIONS 3 37 Who is he that saith, and it cometh to PASS, when the Lord commandeth it not? 44 Thou hast covered thyself with a cloud, that our prayer should not PASS through. LAMENTATIONS 4 21 Rejoice and be glad, O daughter of Edom, that dwellest in the land of Uz; the cup also shall PASS through unto thee: thou shalt be drunken, and shalt make thyself naked. EZEKIEL 1 1 Now it came to PASS in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God. EZEKIEL 2 6 And thou, son of man, be not AFRAID of them, neither be AFRAID of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not AFRAID of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. EZEKIEL 3 16 And it came to PASS at the end of seven days, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, EZEKIEL 5 1 And thou, son of man, take thee a sharp knife, take thee a barber's razor, and cause it to PASS upon thine head and upon thy beard: then take thee balances to weigh, and divide the hair. 14 Moreover I will make thee waste, and a reproach among the nations that are round about thee, in the sight of all that PASS by. 17 So will I send upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave thee: and pestilence and blood shall PASS through thee; and I will bring the sword upon thee. I the LORD have spoken it. EZEKIEL 8 1 And it came to PASS in the sixth year, in the sixth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I sat in mine house, and the elders of Judah sat before me, that the hand of the Lord GOD fell there upon me. EZEKIEL 9 8 And it came to PASS, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem? EZEKIEL 10 6 And it came to PASS, that when he had commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, Take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubims; then he went in, and stood beside the wheels. EZEKIEL 11 13 And it came to PASS, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel? EZEKIEL 12 25 For I am the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to PASS; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord GOD. EZEKIEL 14 15 If I cause noisome beasts to PASS through the land, and they spoil it, so that it be desolate, that no man may PASS through because of the beasts: EZEKIEL 16 21 That thou hast slain my children, and delivered them to cause them to PASS through the fire for them? 23 And it came to PASS after all thy wickedness, (woe, woe unto thee! saith the LORD GOD;) EZEKIEL 20 1 And it came to PASS in the seventh year, in the fifth month, the tenth day of the month, that certain of the elders of Israel came to enquire of the LORD, and sat before me. 26 And I polluted them in their own gifts, in that they caused to PASS through the fire all that openeth the womb, that I might make them desolate, to the end that they might know that I am the LORD. 31 For when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your sons to PASS through the fire, ye pollute yourselves with all your idols, even unto this day: and shall I be enquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be enquired of by you. 37 And I will cause you to PASS under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant: EZEKIEL 21 7 And it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt answer, For the tidings; because it cometh: and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it cometh, and shall be brought to PASS, saith the Lord GOD. EZEKIEL 23 37 That they have committed adultery, and blood is in their hands, and with their idols have they committed adultery, and have also caused their sons, whom they bare unto me, to PASS for them through the fire, to devour them. EZEKIEL 24 14 I the LORD have spoken it: it shall come to PASS, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord GOD. EZEKIEL 26 1 And it came to PASS in the eleventh year, in the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, EZEKIEL 27 35 All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore AFRAID, they shall be troubled in their countenance. EZEKIEL 29 11 No foot of man shall PASS through it, nor foot of beast shall PASS through it, neither shall it be inhabited forty years. 17 And it came to PASS in the seven and twentieth year, in the first month, in the first day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, EZEKIEL 30 9 In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians AFRAID, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh. 20 And it came to PASS in the eleventh year, in the first month, in the seventh day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, EZEKIEL 31 1 And it came to PASS in the eleventh year, in the third month, in the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, EZEKIEL 32 1 And it came to PASS in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, in the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 10 Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, and their kings shall be horribly AFRAID for thee, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall. 17 It came to PASS also in the twelfth year, in the fifteenth day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 19 Whom dost thou PASS in beauty? go down, and be thou laid with the uncircumcised. --MORE-- |
