JEREMIAH 23 18 For who hath STOOD in the counsel of the LORD, and hath perceived and heard his word? who hath marked his word, and heard it? 22 But if they had STOOD in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings. JEREMIAH 26 21 And when Jehoiakim the king, with all his mighty men, and all the princes, heard his words, the king sought to put him to death: but when Urijah heard it, he was AFRAID, and fled, and went into Egypt; JEREMIAH 28 5 Then the prophet Jeremiah said unto the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people that STOOD in the house of the LORD, JEREMIAH 30 10 Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him AFRAID. JEREMIAH 36 16 Now it came to pass, when they had heard all the words, they were AFRAID both one and other, and said unto Baruch, We will surely tell the king of all these words. 21 So the king sent Jehudi to fetch the roll: and he took it out of Elishama the scribe's chamber. And Jehudi read it in the ears of the king, and in the ears of all the princes which STOOD beside the king. 24 Yet they were not AFRAID, nor rent their garments, neither the king, nor any of his servants that heard all these words. JEREMIAH 38 19 And Zedekiah the king said unto Jeremiah, I am AFRAID of the Jews that are fallen to the Chaldeans, lest they deliver me into their hand, and they mock me. JEREMIAH 39 17 But I will deliver thee in that day, saith the LORD: and thou shalt not be given into the hand of the men of whom thou art AFRAID. JEREMIAH 41 18 Because of the Chaldeans: for they were AFRAID of them, because Ishmael the son of Nethaniah had slain Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, whom the king of Babylon made governor in the land. JEREMIAH 42 11 Be not AFRAID of the king of Babylon, of whom ye are AFRAID; be not AFRAID of him, saith the LORD: for I am with you to save you, and to deliver you from his hand. 16 Then it shall come to pass, that the sword, which ye feared, shall overtake you there in the land of Egypt, and the famine, whereof ye were AFRAID, shall follow close after you there in Egypt; and there ye shall die. JEREMIAH 44 15 Then all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto other gods, and all the women that STOOD by, a great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying, JEREMIAH 46 15 Why are thy valiant men swept away? they STOOD not, because the LORD did drive them. 27 But fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make him AFRAID. JEREMIAH 48 45 They that fled STOOD under the shadow of Heshbon because of the force: but a fire shall come forth out of Heshbon, and a flame from the midst of Sihon, and shall devour the corner of Moab, and the crown of the head of the tumultuous ones. LAMENTATIONS 2 4 He hath bent his bow like an enemy: he STOOD with his right hand as an adversary, and slew all that were pleasant to the eye in the tabernacle of the daughter of Zion: he poured out his fury like fire. EZEKIEL 1 21 When those went, these went; and when those STOOD, these STOOD; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels. 24 And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech, as the noise of an host: when they STOOD, they let down their wings. 25 And there was a voice from the firmament that was over their heads, when they STOOD, and had let down their wings. EZEKIEL 2 6 And thou, son of man, be not AFRAID of them, neither be AFRAID of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not AFRAID of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. EZEKIEL 3 23 Then I arose, and went forth into the plain: and, behold, the glory of the LORD STOOD there, as the glory which I saw by the river of Chebar: and I fell on my face. EZEKIEL 8 11 And there STOOD before them seventy men of the ancients of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them STOOD Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, with every man his censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense went up. EZEKIEL 9 2 And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer's inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and STOOD beside the brasen altar. EZEKIEL 10 3 Now the cherubims STOOD on the right side of the house, when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court. 4 Then the glory of the LORD went up from the cherub, and STOOD over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD's glory. 6 And it came to pass, that when he had commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, Take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubims; then he went in, and STOOD beside the wheels. 17 When they STOOD, these STOOD; and when they were lifted up, these lifted up themselves also: for the spirit of the living creature was in them. 18 Then the glory of the LORD departed from off the threshold of the house, and STOOD over the cherubims. 19 And the cherubims lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight: when they went out, the wheels also were beside them, and every one STOOD at the door of the east gate of the LORD's house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above. EZEKIEL 11 23 And the glory of the LORD went up from the midst of the city, and STOOD upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city. EZEKIEL 21 21 For the king of Babylon STOOD at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination: he made his arrows bright, he consulted with images, he looked in the liver. EZEKIEL 27 35 All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore AFRAID, they shall be troubled in their countenance. EZEKIEL 30 9 In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians AFRAID, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh. EZEKIEL 32 10 Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, and their kings shall be horribly AFRAID for thee, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall. EZEKIEL 34 28 And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them AFRAID. EZEKIEL 37 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and STOOD up upon their feet, an exceeding great army. EZEKIEL 39 26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them AFRAID. EZEKIEL 40 3 And he brought me thither, and, behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he STOOD in the gate. EZEKIEL 43 6 And I heard him speaking unto me out of the house; and the man STOOD by me. EZEKIEL 47 1 Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house STOOD toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar. DANIEL 1 19 And the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore STOOD they before the king. DANIEL 2 2 Then the king commanded to call the magicians, and the astrologers, and the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans, for to shew the king his dreams. So they came and STOOD before the king. 31 Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, STOOD before thee; and the form thereof was terrible. DANIEL 3 3 Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they STOOD before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up. DANIEL 4 5 I saw a dream which made me AFRAID, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me. DANIEL 7 10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand STOOD before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened. 16 I came near unto one of them that STOOD by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things. DANIEL 8 3 Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there STOOD before the river a ram which had two horns: and the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher came up last. 15 And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there STOOD before me as the appearance of a man. 17 So he came near where I STOOD: and when he came, I was AFRAID, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision. 22 Now that being broken, whereas four STOOD up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power. --MORE-- |
