ZECHARIAH 12 10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they HAVE pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. ZECHARIAH 14 12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that HAVE fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth. 18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that HAVE no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. MALACHI 1 2 I HAVE loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob, 6 A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein HAVE we despised thy name? 7 Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein HAVE we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the LORD is contemptible. 10 Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nought. I HAVE no pleasure in you, saith the LORD of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand. 12 But ye HAVE profaned it, in that ye say, The table of the LORD is polluted; and the fruit thereof, even his meat, is contemptible. 13 Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness is it! and ye HAVE snuffed at it, saith the LORD of hosts; and ye brought that which was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an offering: should I accept this of your hand? saith the LORD. MALACHI 2 2 If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I HAVE cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart. 4 And ye shall know that I HAVE sent this commandment unto you, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the LORD of hosts. 8 But ye are departed out of the way; ye HAVE caused many to stumble at the law; ye HAVE corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts. 9 Therefore HAVE I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye HAVE not kept my ways, but HAVE been partial in the law. 10 HAVE we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers? 13 And this HAVE ye done again, covering the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with good will at your hand. 17 Ye HAVE wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein HAVE we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment? MALACHI 3 7 Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and HAVE not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return? 8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye HAVE robbed me. But ye say, Wherein HAVE we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. 9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye HAVE robbed me, even this whole nation. 13 Your words HAVE been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What HAVE we spoken so much against thee? 14 Ye HAVE said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we HAVE kept his ordinance, and that we HAVE walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts? MATTHEW 2 2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we HAVE seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. 8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye HAVE found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also. 15 And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt HAVE I called my son. MATTHEW 3 9 And think not to say within yourselves, We HAVE Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. 14 But John forbad him, saying, I HAVE need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? MATTHEW 5 13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt HAVE lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. 21 Ye HAVE heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: 27 Ye HAVE heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: 33 Again, ye HAVE heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths: 38 Ye HAVE heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: 40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him HAVE thy cloak also. 43 Ye HAVE heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward HAVE ye? do not even the publicans the same? MATTHEW 6 1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye HAVE no reward of your Father which is in heaven. 2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may HAVE glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They HAVE their reward. 5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They HAVE their reward. 8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye HAVE need of, before ye ask him. 16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They HAVE their reward. 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye HAVE need of all these things. MATTHEW 7 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, HAVE we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name HAVE cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? MATTHEW 8 10 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I HAVE not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. 20 And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes HAVE holes, and the birds of the air HAVE nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head. 29 And, behold, they cried out, saying, What HAVE we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time? MATTHEW 9 13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will HAVE mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. 27 And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou son of David, HAVE mercy on us. MATTHEW 10 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye HAVE received, freely give. 23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not HAVE gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come. 25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they HAVE called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household? MATTHEW 11 5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor HAVE the gospel preached to them. 17 And saying, We HAVE piped unto you, and ye HAVE not danced; we HAVE mourned unto you, and ye HAVE not lamented. 21 Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would HAVE repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. 23 And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which HAVE been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would HAVE remained until this day. --MORE-- |
