1 KINGS 18 4 For it was so, when Jezebel cut off the prophets of the LORD, that Obadiah took an hundred prophets, and hid them by fifty in a cave, and fed them WITH bread and water.) 13 Was it not told my lord what I did when Jezebel slew the prophets of the LORD, how I hid an hundred men of the LORD's prophets by fifty in a cave, and fed them WITH bread and water? 28 And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner WITH knives and lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them. 32 And WITH the stones he built an altar in the name of the LORD: and he made a trench about the altar, as great as would contain two measures of seed. 33 And he put the wood in order, and cut the bullock in pieces, and laid him on the wood, and said, Fill four barrels WITH water, and pour it on the burnt sacrifice, and on the wood. 35 And the water ran round about the altar; and he filled the trench also WITH water. 45 And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black WITH clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel. 1 KINGS 19 1 And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and withal how he had slain all the prophets WITH the sword. 10 And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets WITH the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away. 14 And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: because the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets WITH the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away. 19 So he departed thence, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing WITH twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he WITH the twelfth: and Elijah passed by him, and cast his mantle upon him. 21 And he returned back from him, and took a yoke of oxen, and slew them, and boiled their flesh WITH the instruments of the oxen, and gave unto the people, and they did eat. Then he arose, and went after Elijah, and ministered unto him. 1 KINGS 20 1 And Benhadad the king of Syria gathered all his host together: and there were thirty and two kings WITH him, and horses, and chariots; and he went up and besieged Samaria, and warred against it. 20 And they slew every one his man: and the Syrians fled; and Israel pursued them: and Benhadad the king of Syria escaped on an horse WITH the horsemen. 21 And the king of Israel went out, and smote the horses and chariots, and slew the Syrians WITH a great slaughter. 34 And Ben-hadad said unto him, The cities, which my father took from thy father, I will restore; and thou shalt make streets for thee in Damascus, as my father made in Samaria. Then said Ahab, I will send thee away WITH this covenant. So he made a covenant WITH him, and sent him away. 38 So the prophet departed, and waited for the king by the way, and disguised himself WITH ashes upon his face. 1 KINGS 21 8 So she wrote letters in Ahab's name, and sealed them WITH his seal, and sent the letters unto the elders and to the nobles that were in his city, dwelling WITH Naboth. 13 And there came in two men, children of Belial, and sat before him: and the men of Belial witnessed against him, even against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying, Naboth did blaspheme God and the king. Then they carried him forth out of the city, and stoned him WITH stones, that he died. 1 KINGS 22 4 And he said unto Jehoshaphat, Wilt thou go WITH me to battle to Ramothgilead? And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, I am as thou art, my people as thy people, my horses as thy horses. 11 And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made him horns of iron: and he said, Thus saith the LORD, WITH these shalt thou push the Syrians, until thou have consumed them. 13 And the messenger that was gone to call Micaiah spake unto him, saying, Behold now, the words of the prophets declare good unto the king WITH one mouth: let thy word, I pray thee, be like the word of one of them, and speak that which is good. 27 And say, Thus saith the king, Put this fellow in the prison, and feed him WITH bread of affliction and WITH water of affliction, until I come in peace. 31 But the king of Syria commanded his thirty and two captains that had rule over his chariots, saying, Fight neither WITH small nor great, save only WITH the king of Israel. 40 So Ahab slept WITH his fathers; and Ahaziah his son reigned in his stead. 44 And Jehoshaphat made peace WITH the king of Israel. 49 Then said Ahaziah the son of Ahab unto Jehoshaphat, Let my servants go WITH thy servants in the ships. But Jehoshaphat would not. 50 And Jehoshaphat slept WITH his fathers, and was buried WITH his fathers in the city of David his father: and Jehoram his son reigned in his stead. 2 KINGS 1 8 And they answered him, He was an hairy man, and girt WITH a girdle of leather about his loins. And he said, It is Elijah the Tishbite. 9 Then the king sent unto him a captain of fifty WITH his fifty. And he went up to him: and, behold, he sat on the top of an hill. And he spake unto him, Thou man of God, the king hath said, Come down. 11 Again also he sent unto him another captain of fifty WITH his fifty. And he answered and said unto him, O man of God, thus hath the king said, Come down quickly. 13 And he sent again a captain of the third fifty WITH his fifty. And the third captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and besought him, and said unto him, O man of God, I pray thee, let my life, and the life of these fifty thy servants, be precious in thy sight. 14 Behold, there came fire down from heaven, and burnt up the two captains of the former fifties WITH their fifties: therefore let my life now be precious in thy sight. 15 And the angel of the LORD said unto Elijah, Go down WITH him: be not AFRAID of him. And he arose, and went down WITH him unto the king. 2 KINGS 2 1 And it came to pass, when the LORD would take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went WITH Elisha from Gilgal. 16 And they said unto him, Behold now, there be WITH thy servants fifty strong men; let them go, we pray thee, and seek thy master: lest peradventure the Spirit of the LORD hath taken him up, and cast him upon some mountain, or into some valley. And he said, Ye shall not send. 2 KINGS 3 4 And Mesha king of Moab was a sheepmaster, and rendered unto the king of Israel an hundred thousand lambs, and an hundred thousand rams, WITH the wool. 7 And he went and sent to Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, saying, The king of Moab hath rebelled against me: wilt thou go WITH me against Moab to battle? And he said, I will go up: I am as thou art, my people as thy people, and my horses as thy horses. 12 And Jehoshaphat said, The word of the LORD is WITH him. So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him. 13 And Elisha said unto the king of Israel, What have I to do WITH thee? get thee to the prophets of thy father, and to the prophets of thy mother. And the king of Israel said unto him, Nay: for the LORD hath called these three kings together, to deliver them into the hand of Moab. 17 For thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled WITH water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts. 19 And ye shall smite every fenced city, and every choice city, and shall fell every good tree, and stop all wells of water, and mar every good piece of land WITH stones. 20 And it came to pass in the morning, when the meat offering was offered, that, behold, there came water by the way of Edom, and the country was filled WITH water. 26 And when the king of Moab saw that the battle was too sore for him, he took WITH him seven hundred men that drew swords, to break through even unto the king of Edom: but they could not. 2 KINGS 4 13 And he said unto him, Say now unto her, Behold, thou hast been careful for us WITH all this care; what is to be done for thee? wouldest thou be spoken for to the king, or to the captain of the host? And she answered, I dwell among mine own people. 26 Run now, I pray thee, to meet her, and say unto her, Is it well WITH thee? is it well WITH thy husband? is it well WITH the child? And she answered, It is well: 2 KINGS 5 1 Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man WITH his master, and honourable, because by him the LORD had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valour, but he was a leper. 3 And she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord were WITH the prophet that is in Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy. 5 And the king of Syria said, Go to, go, and I will send a letter unto the king of Israel. And he departed, and took WITH him ten talents of silver, and six thousand pieces of gold, and ten changes of raiment. 9 So Naaman came WITH his horses and WITH his chariot, and stood at the door of the house of Elisha. 23 And Naaman said, Be content, take two talents. And he urged him, and bound two talents of silver in two bags, WITH two changes of garments, and laid them upon two of his servants; and they bare them before him. 26 And he said unto him, Went not mine heart WITH thee, when the man turned again from his chariot to meet thee? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and oliveyards, and vineyards, and sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and maidservants? --MORE-- |
