ISAIAH 8 1 Moreover the LORD said unto me, Take thee a great roll, and write in it WITH a man's pen concerning Mahershalalhashbaz. 10 Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is WITH us. 11 For the LORD spake thus to me WITH a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying, 12 Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be AFRAID. ISAIAH 9 5 For every battle of the warrior is WITH confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be WITH burning and fuel of fire. 7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it WITH judgment and WITH justice from henceforth even for ever. ISAIAH 12 1 And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry WITH me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me. 2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be AFRAID: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. 3 Therefore WITH joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. ISAIAH 13 8 And they shall be AFRAID: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. 9 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both WITH wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. ISAIAH 14 1 For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined WITH them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob. 6 He who smote the people in wrath WITH a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hindereth. 19 But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through WITH a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet. 20 Thou shalt not be joined WITH them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, and slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned. 21 Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world WITH cities. 23 I will also make it a possession for the bittern, and pools of water: and I will sweep it WITH the besom of destruction, saith the LORD of hosts. 30 And the firstborn of the poor shall feed, and the needy shall lie down in safety: and I will kill thy root WITH famine, and he shall slay thy remnant. ISAIAH 15 3 In their streets they shall gird themselves WITH sackcloth: on the tops of their houses, and in their streets, every one shall howl, weeping abundantly. 5 My heart shall cry out for Moab; his fugitives shall flee unto Zoar, an heifer of three years old: for by the mounting up of Luhith WITH weeping shall they go it up; for in the way of Horonaim they shall raise up a cry of destruction. ISAIAH 16 4 Let mine outcasts dwell WITH thee, Moab; be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler: for the extortioner is at an end, the spoiler ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land. 9 Therefore I will bewail WITH the weeping of Jazer the vine of Sibmah: I will water thee WITH my tears, O Heshbon, and Elealeh: for the shouting for thy summer fruits and for thy harvest is fallen. 14 But now the LORD hath spoken, saying, Within three years, as the years of an hireling, and the glory of Moab shall be contemned, WITH all that great multitude; and the remnant shall be very small and feeble. ISAIAH 17 2 The cities of Aroer are forsaken: they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them AFRAID. 5 And it shall be as when the harvestman gathereth the corn, and reapeth the ears WITH his arm; and it shall be as he that gathereth ears in the valley of Rephaim. 10 Because thou hast forgotten the God of thy salvation, and hast not been mindful of the rock of thy strength, therefore shalt thou plant pleasant plants, and shalt set it WITH strange slips: ISAIAH 18 1 Woe to the land shadowing WITH wings, which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia: 5 For afore the harvest, when the bud is perfect, and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, he shall both cut off the sprigs WITH pruning hooks, and take away and cut down the branches. ISAIAH 19 16 In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be AFRAID and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which he shaketh over it. 17 And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be AFRAID in himself, because of the counsel of the LORD of hosts, which he hath determined against it. 23 In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve WITH the Assyrians. 24 In that day shall Israel be the third WITH Egypt and WITH Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land: ISAIAH 20 4 So shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and the Ethiopians captives, young and old, naked and barefoot, even WITH their buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt. 5 And they shall be AFRAID and ashamed of Ethiopia their expectation, and of Egypt their glory. ISAIAH 21 3 Therefore are my loins filled WITH pain: pangs have taken hold upon me, as the pangs of a woman that travaileth: I was bowed down at the hearing of it; I was dismayed at the seeing of it. 7 And he saw a chariot WITH a couple of horsemen, a chariot of asses, and a chariot of camels; and he hearkened diligently WITH much heed: 9 And, behold, here cometh a chariot of men, WITH a couple of horsemen. And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods he hath broken unto the ground. 14 The inhabitants of the land of Tema brought water to him that was thirsty, they prevented WITH their bread him that fled. ISAIAH 22 2 Thou that art full of stirs, a tumultuous city, joyous city: thy slain men are not slain WITH the sword, nor dead in battle. 6 And Elam bare the quiver WITH chariots of men and horsemen, and Kir uncovered the shield. 12 And in that day did the Lord GOD of hosts call to weeping, and to mourning, and to baldness, and to girding WITH sackcloth: 17 Behold, the LORD will carry thee away WITH a mighty captivity, and will surely cover thee. 21 And I will clothe him WITH thy robe, and strengthen him WITH thy girdle, and I will commit thy government into his hand: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah. --MORE-- |
