JEREMIAH 38 6 Then took they Jeremiah, and cast him into the dungeon of Malchiah the son of Hammelech, that was in the court of the PRISON: and they let down Jeremiah with cords. And in the dungeon there was no water, but mire: so Jeremiah sunk in the mire. 9 My lord the king, these men have done evil in all that they have done to Jeremiah the PROPHET, whom they have cast into the dungeon; and he is like to die for hunger in the place where he is: for there is no more bread in the city. 10 Then the king commanded Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, saying, Take from hence thirty men with thee, and take up Jeremiah the PROPHET out of the dungeon, before he die. 13 So they drew up Jeremiah with cords, and took him up out of the dungeon: and Jeremiah remained in the court of the PRISON. 14 Then Zedekiah the king sent, and took Jeremiah the PROPHET unto him into the third entry that is in the house of the LORD: and the king said unto Jeremiah, I will ask thee a thing; hide nothing from me. 28 So Jeremiah abode in the court of the PRISON until the day that Jerusalem was taken: and he was there when Jerusalem was taken. JEREMIAH 39 14 Even they sent, and took Jeremiah out of the court of the PRISON, and committed him unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, that he should carry him home: so he dwelt among the people. 15 Now the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, while he was shut up in the court of the PRISON, saying, JEREMIAH 42 2 And said unto Jeremiah the PROPHET, Let, we beseech thee, our supplication be accepted before thee, and pray for us unto the LORD thy God, even for all this remnant; (for we are left but a few of many, as thine eyes do behold us:) 4 Then Jeremiah the PROPHET said unto them, I have heard you; behold, I will pray unto the LORD your God according to your words; and it shall come to pass, that whatsoever thing the LORD shall answer you, I will declare it unto you; I will keep nothing back from you. JEREMIAH 43 6 Even men, and women, and children, and the king's daughters, and every person that Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had left with Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Jeremiah the PROPHET, and Baruch the son of Neriah. JEREMIAH 45 1 The word that Jeremiah the PROPHET spake unto Baruch the son of Neriah, when he had written these words in a book at the mouth of Jeremiah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, saying, JEREMIAH 46 1 The word of the LORD which came to Jeremiah the PROPHET against the Gentiles; 13 The word that the LORD spake to Jeremiah the PROPHET, how Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon should come and smite the land of Egypt. JEREMIAH 47 1 The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the PROPHET against the Philistines, before that Pharaoh smote Gaza. JEREMIAH 49 34 The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the PROPHET against Elam in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying, JEREMIAH 50 1 The word that the LORD spake against Babylon and against the land of the Chaldeans by Jeremiah the PROPHET. JEREMIAH 51 59 The word which Jeremiah the PROPHET commanded Seraiah the son of Neriah, the son of Maaseiah, when he went with Zedekiah the king of Judah into Babylon in the fourth year of his reign. And this Seraiah was a quiet prince. JEREMIAH 52 11 Then he put out the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him in chains, and carried him to Babylon, and put him in PRISON till the day of his death. 31 And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, in the five and twentieth day of the month, that Evilmerodach king of Babylon in the first year of his reign lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and brought him forth out of PRISON. 33 And changed his PRISON garments: and he did continually eat bread before him all the days of his life. LAMENTATIONS 2 20 Behold, O LORD, and consider to whom thou hast done this. Shall the women eat their fruit, and children of a span long? shall the priest and the PROPHET be slain in the sanctuary of the Lord? EZEKIEL 2 5 And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a PROPHET among them. EZEKIEL 7 26 Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumour shall be upon rumour; then shall they seek a vision of the PROPHET; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients. EZEKIEL 14 4 Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the PROPHET; I the LORD will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols; 7 For every one of the house of Israel, or of the stranger that sojourneth in Israel, which separateth himself from me, and setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to a PROPHET to enquire of him concerning me; I the LORD will answer him by myself: 9 And if the PROPHET be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived that PROPHET, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel. 10 And they shall bear the punishment of their iniquity: the punishment of the PROPHET shall be even as the punishment of him that seeketh unto him; EZEKIEL 16 44 Behold, every one that useth PROVERBS shall use this proverb against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter. EZEKIEL 33 33 And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that a PROPHET hath been among them. DANIEL 9 2 In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the PROPHET, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. HOSEA 4 5 Therefore shalt thou fall in the day, and the PROPHET also shall fall with thee in the night, and I will destroy thy mother. HOSEA 9 7 The days of visitation are come, the days of recompence are come; Israel shall know it: the PROPHET is a fool, the spiritual man is mad, for the multitude of thine iniquity, and the great hatred. 8 The watchman of Ephraim was with my God: but the PROPHET is a snare of a fowler in all his ways, and hatred in the house of his God. HOSEA 12 13 And by a PROPHET the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a PROPHET was he preserved. AMOS 7 14 Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was no PROPHET, neither was I a PROPHET's son; but I was an herdman, and a gatherer of sycomore fruit: MICAH 2 11 If a man walking in the spirit and falsehood do lie, saying, I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the PROPHET of this people. HABAKKUK 1 1 The burden which Habakkuk the PROPHET did see. HABAKKUK 3 1 A prayer of Habakkuk the PROPHET upon Shigionoth. HAGGAI 1 1 In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the PROPHET unto Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, saying, 3 Then came the word of the LORD by Haggai the PROPHET, saying, 12 Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God, and the words of Haggai the PROPHET, as the LORD their God had sent him, and the people did fear before the LORD. HAGGAI 2 1 In the seventh month, in the one and twentieth day of the month, came the word of the LORD by the PROPHET Haggai, saying, 10 In the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the PROPHET, saying, ZECHARIAH 1 1 In the eighth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the PROPHET, saying, 7 Upon the four and twentieth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Sebat, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the PROPHET, saying, ZECHARIAH 13 5 But he shall say, I am no PROPHET, I am an husbandman; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth. MALACHI 4 5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the PROPHET before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: MATTHEW 1 22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the PROPHET, saying, MATTHEW 2 5 And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the PROPHET, 15 And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the PROPHET, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son. 17 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the PROPHET, saying, --MORE-- |
