JEREMIAH 19 15 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon this city and upon all her towns all the evil that I have pronounced against it, because they have hardened their necks, that they MIGHT not hear my words. EZEKIEL 20 12 Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they MIGHT know that I am the LORD that sanctify them. 26 And I polluted them in their own gifts, in that they caused to pass through the fire all that openeth the womb, that I MIGHT make them desolate, to the end that they MIGHT know that I am the LORD. EZEKIEL 24 8 That it MIGHT cause fury to come up to take vengeance; I have set her blood upon the top of a rock, that it should not be covered. EZEKIEL 27 35 All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore AFRAID, they shall be troubled in their countenance. EZEKIEL 34 28 And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them AFRAID. EZEKIEL 36 3 Therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye MIGHT be a possession unto the residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people: EZEKIEL 39 26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them AFRAID. EZEKIEL 40 4 And the man said unto me, Son of man, behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears, and set thine heart upon all that I shall shew thee; for to the intent that I MIGHT shew them unto thee art thou brought hither: declare all that thou seest to the house of Israel. EZEKIEL 41 6 And the side chambers were three, one over another, and thirty in order; and they entered into the wall which was of the house for the side chambers round about, that they MIGHT have hold, but they had not hold in the wall of the house. 24 And the doors had two leaves APIECE, two turning leaves; two leaves for the one door, and two leaves for the other door. DANIEL 1 4 Children in whom was no blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king's palace, and whom they MIGHT teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans. 5 And the king appointed them a daily provision of the king's meat, and of the wine which he drank: so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they MIGHT stand before the king. 8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he MIGHT not defile himself. DANIEL 2 20 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and MIGHT are his: 23 I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and MIGHT, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou hast now made known unto us the king's matter. DANIEL 3 28 Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they MIGHT not serve nor worship any god, except their own God. DANIEL 4 5 I saw a dream which made me AFRAID, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me. 6 Therefore made I a decree to bring in all the wise men of Babylon before me, that they MIGHT make known unto me the interpretation of the dream. 30 The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the MIGHT of my power, and for the honour of my majesty? DANIEL 5 2 Belshazzar, whiles he tasted the wine, commanded to bring the golden and silver vessels which his father Nebuchadnezzar had taken out of the temple which was in Jerusalem; that the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, MIGHT drink therein. DANIEL 6 2 And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes MIGHT give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage. 17 And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose MIGHT not be changed concerning Daniel. --MORE-- |
