EZEKIEL 27 35 All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore AFRAID, they shall be troubled in their countenance. EZEKIEL 30 9 In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians AFRAID, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh. EZEKIEL 34 28 And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them AFRAID. DANIEL 1 4 Children in whom was no blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king's palace, and whom they MIGHT teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans. 5 And the king appointed them a daily provision of the king's meat, and of the wine which he drank: so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they MIGHT stand before the king. 8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he MIGHT not defile himself. DANIEL 2 20 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and MIGHT are his: 23 I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and MIGHT, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou hast now made known unto us the king's matter. DANIEL 3 28 Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they MIGHT not serve nor worship any god, except their own God. DANIEL 4 5 I saw a dream which made me AFRAID, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me. 6 Therefore made I a decree to bring in all the wise men of Babylon before me, that they MIGHT make known unto me the interpretation of the dream. 30 The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the MIGHT of my power, and for the honour of my majesty? DANIEL 5 2 Belshazzar, whiles he tasted the wine, commanded to bring the golden and silver vessels which his father Nebuchadnezzar had taken out of the temple which was in Jerusalem; that the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, MIGHT drink therein. DANIEL 6 2 And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes MIGHT give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage. 17 And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose MIGHT not be changed concerning Daniel. DANIEL 8 4 I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts MIGHT stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and became great. 17 So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was AFRAID, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision. DANIEL 9 11 Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they MIGHT not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him. 13 As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the LORD our God, that we MIGHT turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth. JOEL 2 22 Be not AFRAID, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength. JONAH 4 5 So Jonah went out of the city, and sat on the east side of the city, and there made him a booth, and sat under it in the shadow, till he MIGHT see what would become of the city. 6 And the LORD God prepared a gourd, and made it to come up over Jonah, that it MIGHT be a shadow over his head, to deliver him from his grief. So Jonah was exceeding glad of the gourd. MICAH 3 8 But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of MIGHT, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin. ZECHARIAH 4 6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by MIGHT, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. ZECHARIAH 6 7 And the bay went forth, and sought to go that they MIGHT walk to and fro through the earth: and he said, Get you hence, walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth. ZECHARIAH 8 9 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, which were in the day that the foundation of the house of the LORD of hosts was laid, that the temple MIGHT be built. ZECHARIAH 11 10 And I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I MIGHT break my covenant which I had made with all the people. 14 Then I cut asunder mine other staff, even Bands, that I MIGHT break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel. --MORE-- |
