MARK 9 6 For he wist not what to say; for they were sore AFRAID. 32 But they understood not that saying, and were AFRAID to ask him. MARK 10 32 And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus went before them: and they were amazed; and as they followed, they were AFRAID. And he took again the twelve, and began to tell them what things should happen unto him, 51 And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I MIGHT receive my sight. MARK 11 13 And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he MIGHT find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet. 18 And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they MIGHT destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine. MARK 12 2 And at the season he sent to the husbandmen a servant, that he MIGHT receive from the husbandmen of the fruit of the vineyard. MARK 14 1 After two days was the feast of the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they MIGHT take him by craft, and put him to death. 5 For it MIGHT have been sold for more than three hundred pence, and have been given to the poor. And they murmured against her. 11 And when they heard it, they were glad, and promised to give him money. And he sought how he MIGHT conveniently betray him. 35 And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour MIGHT pass from him. MARK 16 1 And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they MIGHT come and anoint him. 8 And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were AFRAID. LUKE 1 74 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies MIGHT serve him without fear, LUKE 2 9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore AFRAID. LUKE 4 29 And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they MIGHT cast him down headlong. LUKE 5 19 And when they could not find by what way they MIGHT bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus. --MORE-- |
