LUKE 17 6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye MIGHT say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you. LUKE 19 15 And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he MIGHT know how much every man had gained by trading. 23 Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I MIGHT have required mine own with usury? 48 And could not find what they MIGHT do: for all the people were very attentive to hear him. LUKE 20 20 And they watched him, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they MIGHT take hold of his words, that so they MIGHT deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor. LUKE 22 2 And the chief priests and scribes sought how they MIGHT kill him; for they feared the people. 4 And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he MIGHT betray him unto them. LUKE 23 23 And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he MIGHT be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed. 26 And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he MIGHT bear it after Jesus. LUKE 24 5 And as they were AFRAID, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? 45 Then opened he their understanding, that they MIGHT understand the scriptures, JOHN 1 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him MIGHT believe. JOHN 2 6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins APIECE. JOHN 3 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him MIGHT be saved. JOHN 5 34 But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say, that ye MIGHT be saved. 40 And ye will not come to me, that ye MIGHT have life. JOHN 6 19 So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were AFRAID. 20 But he saith unto them, It is I; be not AFRAID. 28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we MIGHT work the works of God? JOHN 8 6 This they said, tempting him, that they MIGHT have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. JOHN 9 36 He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I MIGHT believe on him? 39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not MIGHT see; and that they which see MIGHT be made blind. JOHN 10 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they MIGHT have life, and that they MIGHT have it more abundantly. 17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I MIGHT take it again. JOHN 11 4 When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God MIGHT be glorified thereby. 57 Now both the chief priests and the Pharisees had given a commandment, that, if any man knew where he were, he should shew it, that they MIGHT take him. JOHN 12 9 Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there: and they came not for Jesus' sake only, but that they MIGHT see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead. 10 But the chief priests consulted that they MIGHT put Lazarus also to death; 38 That the saying of Esaias the prophet MIGHT be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? JOHN 14 27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be AFRAID. 29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye MIGHT believe. JOHN 15 11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy MIGHT remain in you, and that your joy MIGHT be full. 25 But this cometh to pass, that the word MIGHT be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause. JOHN 16 33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye MIGHT have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. JOHN 17 3 And this is life eternal, that they MIGHT know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. 12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture MIGHT be fulfilled. 13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they MIGHT have my joy fulfilled in themselves. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also MIGHT be sanctified through the truth. JOHN 18 9 That the saying MIGHT be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none. 28 Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they MIGHT eat the passover. 32 That the saying of Jesus MIGHT be fulfilled, which he spake, signifying what death he should die. JOHN 19 8 When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he was the more AFRAID; 24 They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture MIGHT be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did. 28 After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture MIGHT be fulfilled, saith, I thirst. 31 The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs MIGHT be broken, and that they MIGHT be taken away. 35 And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye MIGHT believe. 38 And after this Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, besought Pilate that he MIGHT take away the body of Jesus: and Pilate gave him leave. He came therefore, and took the body of Jesus. JOHN 20 31 But these are written, that ye MIGHT believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye MIGHT have life through his name. ACTS 1 25 That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he MIGHT go to his own place. ACTS 4 21 So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding nothing how they MIGHT punish them, because of the people: for all men glorified God for that which was done. --MORE-- |
