ROMANS 11 14 If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and MIGHT save some of them. 19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I MIGHT be graffed in. 32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he MIGHT have mercy upon all. ROMANS 13 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be AFRAID of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be AFRAID; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. ROMANS 14 9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he MIGHT be Lord both of the dead and living. ROMANS 15 4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures MIGHT have hope. 9 And that the Gentiles MIGHT glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name. 16 That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles MIGHT be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost. 1 CORINTHIANS 2 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we MIGHT know the things that are freely given to us of God. 1 CORINTHIANS 4 6 And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye MIGHT learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another. 8 Now ye are full, now ye are rich, ye have reigned as kings without us: and I would to God ye did reign, that we also MIGHT reign with you. 1 CORINTHIANS 5 2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed MIGHT be taken away from among you. 1 CORINTHIANS 9 19 For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I MIGHT gain the more. 20 And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I MIGHT gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I MIGHT gain them that are under the law; 21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I MIGHT gain them that are without law. 22 To the weak became I as weak, that I MIGHT gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I MIGHT by all means save some. 23 And this I do for the gospel's sake, that I MIGHT be partaker thereof with you. 1 CORINTHIANS 14 19 Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I MIGHT teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue. 2 CORINTHIANS 1 15 And in this confidence I was minded to come unto you before, that ye MIGHT have a second benefit; 2 CORINTHIANS 2 4 For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye MIGHT know the love which I have more abundantly unto you. 9 For to this end also did I write, that I MIGHT know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things. 2 CORINTHIANS 4 10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus MIGHT be made manifest in our body. 11 For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus MIGHT be made manifest in our mortal flesh. 15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace MIGHT through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God. 2 CORINTHIANS 5 4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality MIGHT be swallowed up of life. 21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we MIGHT be made the righteousness of God in him. 2 CORINTHIANS 7 9 Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye MIGHT receive damage by us in nothing. 12 Wherefore, though I wrote unto you, I did it not for his cause that had done the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered wrong, but that our care for you in the sight of God MIGHT appear unto you. 2 CORINTHIANS 8 9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty MIGHT be rich. 2 CORINTHIANS 9 5 Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your bounty, whereof ye had notice before, that the same MIGHT be ready, as a matter of bounty, and not as of covetousness. 2 CORINTHIANS 11 4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye MIGHT well bear with him. 7 Have I committed an offence in abasing myself that ye MIGHT be exalted, because I have preached to you the gospel of God freely? 2 CORINTHIANS 12 8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it MIGHT depart from me. GALATIANS 1 4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he MIGHT deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: 16 To reveal his Son in me, that I MIGHT preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: GALATIANS 2 4 And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they MIGHT bring us into bondage: 5 To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel MIGHT continue with you. 16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we MIGHT be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. 19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I MIGHT live unto God. GALATIANS 3 14 That the blessing of Abraham MIGHT come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we MIGHT receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. 22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ MIGHT be given to them that believe. 24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we MIGHT be justified by faith. GALATIANS 4 5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we MIGHT receive the adoption of sons. 11 I am AFRAID of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain. 17 They zealously affect you, but not well; yea, they would exclude you, that ye MIGHT affect them. EPHESIANS 1 10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he MIGHT gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: 21 Far above all principality, and power, and MIGHT, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: EPHESIANS 2 7 That in the ages to come he MIGHT shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 16 And that he MIGHT reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: --MORE-- |
