MARK 10 2 And the PHARISEES came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting him. 32 And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus went before them: and they were amazed; and as they followed, they were AFRAID. And he took again the twelve, and began to tell them what things should happen unto him, MARK 12 13 And they send unto him certain of the PHARISEES and of the Herodians, to catch him in his words. MARK 16 8 And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were AFRAID. LUKE 2 9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore AFRAID. LUKE 5 17 And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were PHARISEES and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them. 21 And the scribes and the PHARISEES began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone? 30 But their scribes and PHARISEES murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners? 33 And they said unto him, Why do the disciples of John fast often, and make prayers, and likewise the disciples of the PHARISEES; but thine eat and drink? LUKE 6 2 And certain of the PHARISEES said unto them, Why do ye that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath days? 7 And the scribes and PHARISEES watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him. LUKE 7 30 But the PHARISEES and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him. 36 And one of the PHARISEES desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee's house, and sat down to meat. LUKE 8 25 And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being AFRAID wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him. 35 Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were AFRAID. LUKE 9 3 And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats APIECE. LUKE 11 39 And the Lord said unto him, Now do ye PHARISEES make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness. 42 But woe unto you, PHARISEES! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. 43 Woe unto you, PHARISEES! for ye love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets. 44 Woe unto you, scribes and PHARISEES, hypocrites! for ye are as graves which appear not, and the men that walk over them are not aware of them. 53 And as he said these things unto them, the scribes and the PHARISEES began to urge him vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things: LUKE 12 1 In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the PHARISEES, which is hypocrisy. 4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not AFRAID of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. LUKE 13 31 The same day there came certain of the PHARISEES, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee. LUKE 14 1 And it came to pass, as he went into the house of one of the chief PHARISEES to eat bread on the sabbath day, that they watched him. 3 And Jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and PHARISEES, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day? LUKE 15 2 And the PHARISEES and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them. LUKE 16 14 And the PHARISEES also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him. LUKE 17 20 And when he was demanded of the PHARISEES, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: LUKE 19 39 And some of the PHARISEES from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples. LUKE 24 5 And as they were AFRAID, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? JOHN 1 24 And they which were sent were of the PHARISEES. JOHN 2 6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins APIECE. JOHN 3 1 There was a man of the PHARISEES, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: JOHN 4 1 When therefore the LORD knew how the PHARISEES had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John, JOHN 6 19 So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were AFRAID. 20 But he saith unto them, It is I; be not AFRAID. JOHN 7 32 The PHARISEES heard that the people murmured such things concerning him; and the PHARISEES and the chief priests sent officers to take him. 45 Then came the officers to the chief priests and PHARISEES; and they said unto them, Why have ye not brought him? 47 Then answered them the PHARISEES, Are ye also deceived? 48 Have any of the rulers or of the PHARISEES believed on him? JOHN 8 3 And the scribes and PHARISEES brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, 13 The PHARISEES therefore said unto him, Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true. JOHN 9 13 They brought to the PHARISEES him that aforetime was blind. 15 Then again the PHARISEES also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see. 16 Therefore said some of the PHARISEES, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them. 40 And some of the PHARISEES which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also? JOHN 11 46 But some of them went their ways to the PHARISEES, and told them what things Jesus had done. 47 Then gathered the chief priests and the PHARISEES a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles. 57 Now both the chief priests and the PHARISEES had given a commandment, that, if any man knew where he were, he should shew it, that they might take him. --MORE-- |
