2 CHRONICLES 13 11 And they burn unto the LORD every morning and every evening burnt sacrifices and sweet incense: the shewbread also set they in order upon the pure table; and the candlestick of gold with the lamps THEREOF, to burn every evening: for we keep the charge of the LORD our God; but ye have forsaken him. 19 And Abijah pursued after Jeroboam, and took cities from him, Bethel with the towns THEREOF, and Jeshanah with the towns THEREOF, and Ephraim with the towns THEREOF. 2 CHRONICLES 16 6 Then Asa the king took all Judah; and they carried away the stones of Ramah, and the timber THEREOF, wherewith Baasha was building; and he built therewith Geba and Mizpah. 2 CHRONICLES 20 15 And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not AFRAID nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's. 2 CHRONICLES 28 18 The Philistines also had invaded the cities of the low country, and of the south of Judah, and had taken Bethshemesh, and Ajalon, and Gederoth, and Shocho with the villages THEREOF, and Timnah with the villages THEREOF, Gimzo also and the villages THEREOF: and they dwelt there. 2 CHRONICLES 29 18 Then they went in to Hezekiah the king, and said, We have cleansed all the house of the LORD, and the altar of burnt offering, with all the vessels THEREOF, and the shewbread table, with all the vessels THEREOF. 2 CHRONICLES 32 1 After these things, and the establishment THEREOF, Sennacherib king of Assyria came, and entered into Judah, and encamped against the fenced cities, and thought to win them for himself. 7 Be strong and courageous, be not AFRAID nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there be more with us than with him: 2 CHRONICLES 34 24 Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants THEREOF, even all the curses that are written in the book which they have read before the king of Judah: 27 Because thine heart was tender, and thou didst humble thyself before God, when thou heardest his words against this place, and against the inhabitants THEREOF, and humbledst thyself before me, and didst rend thy clothes, and weep before me; I have even heard thee also, saith the LORD. 2 CHRONICLES 36 19 And they burnt the house of God, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt all the palaces THEREOF with fire, and destroyed all the goodly vessels THEREOF. EZRA 4 12 Be it known unto the king, that the Jews which came up from thee to us are come unto Jerusalem, building the rebellious and the bad city, and have set up the walls THEREOF, and joined the foundations. 16 We certify the king that, if this city be builded again, and the walls THEREOF set up, by this means thou shalt have no portion on this side the river. EZRA 6 3 In the first year of Cyrus the king the same Cyrus the king made a decree concerning the house of God at Jerusalem, Let the house be builded, the place where they offered sacrifices, and let the foundations THEREOF be strongly laid; the height THEREOF threescore cubits, and the breadth THEREOF threescore cubits; EZRA 9 9 For we were bondmen; yet our God hath not forsaken us in our bondage, but hath extended mercy unto us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to give us a reviving, to set up the house of our God, and to repair the desolations THEREOF, and to give us a wall in Judah and in Jerusalem. EZRA 10 14 Let now our rulers of all the congregation stand, and let all them which have taken strange wives in our cities come at appointed times, and with them the elders of every city, and the judges THEREOF, until the fierce wrath of our God for this matter be turned from us. NEHEMIAH 1 3 And they said unto me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach: the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates THEREOF are burned with fire. NEHEMIAH 2 2 Wherefore the king said unto me, Why is thy countenance sad, seeing thou art not sick? this is nothing else but sorrow of heart. Then I was very sore AFRAID, 3 And said unto the king, Let the king live for ever: why should not my countenance be sad, when the city, the place of my fathers' sepulchres, lieth waste, and the gates THEREOF are consumed with fire? 13 And I went out by night by the gate of the valley, even before the dragon well, and to the dung port, and viewed the walls of Jerusalem, which were broken down, and the gates THEREOF were consumed with fire. 17 Then said I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste, and the gates THEREOF are burned with fire: come, and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach. NEHEMIAH 3 3 But the fish gate did the sons of Hassenaah build, who also laid the beams THEREOF, and set up the doors THEREOF, the locks THEREOF, and the bars THEREOF. 6 Moreover the old gate repaired Jehoiada the son of Paseah, and Meshullam the son of Besodeiah; they laid the beams THEREOF, and set up the doors THEREOF, and the locks THEREOF, and the bars THEREOF. 13 The valley gate repaired Hanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoah; they built it, and set up the doors THEREOF, the locks THEREOF, and the bars THEREOF, and a thousand cubits on the wall unto the dung gate. 14 But the dung gate repaired Malchiah the son of Rechab, the ruler of part of Bethhaccerem; he built it, and set up the doors THEREOF, the locks THEREOF, and the bars THEREOF. 15 But the gate of the fountain repaired Shallun the son of Colhozeh, the ruler of part of Mizpah; he built it, and covered it, and set up the doors THEREOF, the locks THEREOF, and the bars THEREOF, and the wall of the pool of Siloah by the king's garden, and unto the stairs that go down from the city of David. NEHEMIAH 4 6 So built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half THEREOF: for the people had a mind to work. 14 And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye AFRAID of them: remember the LORD, which is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses. NEHEMIAH 6 9 For they all made us AFRAID, saying, Their hands shall be weakened from the work, that it be not done. Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands. 13 Therefore was he hired, that I should be AFRAID, and do so, and sin, and that they might have matter for an evil report, that they might reproach me. 16 And it came to pass, that when all our enemies heard THEREOF, and all the heathen that were about us saw these things, they were much cast down in their own eyes: for they perceived that this work was wrought of our God. NEHEMIAH 9 36 Behold, we are servants this day, and for the land that thou gavest unto our fathers to eat the fruit THEREOF and the good THEREOF, behold, we are servants in it: NEHEMIAH 11 25 And for the villages, with their fields, some of the children of Judah dwelt at Kirjatharba, and in the villages THEREOF, and at Dibon, and in the villages THEREOF, and at Jekabzeel, and in the villages THEREOF, 27 And at Hazarshual, and at Beersheba, and in the villages THEREOF, 28 And at Ziklag, and at Mekonah, and in the villages THEREOF, 30 Zanoah, Adullam, and in their villages, at Lachish, and the fields THEREOF, at Azekah, and in the villages THEREOF. And they dwelt from Beersheba unto the valley of Hinnom. NEHEMIAH 13 14 Remember me, O my God, concerning this, and wipe not out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my God, and for the offices THEREOF. ESTHER 1 22 For he sent letters into all the king's provinces, into every province according to the writing THEREOF, and to every people after their language, that every man should bear rule in his own house, and that it should be published according to the language of every people. ESTHER 2 22 And the thing was known to Mordecai, who told it unto Esther the queen; and Esther certified the king THEREOF in Mordecai's name. ESTHER 3 12 Then were the king's scribes called on the thirteenth day of the first month, and there was written according to all that Haman had commanded unto the king's lieutenants, and to the governors that were over every province, and to the rulers of every people of every province according to the writing THEREOF, and to every people after their language; in the name of king Ahasuerus was it written, and sealed with the king's ring. ESTHER 7 6 And Esther said, The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman. Then Haman was AFRAID before the king and the queen. ESTHER 8 9 Then were the king's scribes called at that time in the third month, that is, the month Sivan, on the three and twentieth day THEREOF; and it was written according to all that Mordecai commanded unto the Jews, and to the lieutenants, and the deputies and rulers of the provinces which are from India unto Ethiopia, an hundred twenty and seven provinces, unto every province according to the writing THEREOF, and unto every people after their language, and to the Jews according to their writing, and according to their language. ESTHER 9 18 But the Jews that were at Shushan assembled together on the thirteenth day THEREOF, and on the fourteenth THEREOF; and on the fifteenth day of the same they rested, and made it a day of feasting and gladness. JOB 3 9 Let the stars of the twilight THEREOF be dark; let it look for light, but have none; neither let it see the dawning of the day: 25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was AFRAID of is come unto me. JOB 4 12 Now a thing was secretly brought to me, and mine ear received a little THEREOF. 16 It stood still, but I could not discern the form THEREOF: an image was before mine eyes, there was silence, and I heard a voice, saying, JOB 5 21 Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the tongue: neither shalt thou be AFRAID of destruction when it cometh. 22 At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: neither shalt thou be AFRAID of the beasts of the earth. JOB 6 21 For now ye are nothing; ye see my casting down, and are AFRAID. --MORE-- |
