ISAIAH 33 14 The sinners in Zion are AFRAID; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? 20 Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle that shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes THEREOF shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords THEREOF be broken. ISAIAH 34 9 And the streams THEREOF shall be turned into pitch, and the dust THEREOF into brimstone, and the land THEREOF shall become burning pitch. 10 It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke THEREOF shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever. 12 They shall call the nobles THEREOF to the kingdom, but none shall be there, and all her princes shall be nothing. 13 And thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and brambles in the fortresses THEREOF: and it shall be an habitation of dragons, and a court for owls. ISAIAH 37 6 And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say unto your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not AFRAID of the words that thou hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me. 24 By thy servants hast thou reproached the Lord, and hast said, By the multitude of my chariots am I come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon; and I will cut down the tall cedars THEREOF, and the choice fir trees THEREOF: and I will enter into the height of his border, and the forest of his Carmel. 30 And this shall be a sign unto thee, Ye shall eat this year such as groweth of itself; and the second year that which springeth of the same: and in the third year sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruit THEREOF. ISAIAH 40 6 The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness THEREOF is as the flower of the field: 9 O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not AFRAID; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God! 16 And Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, nor the beasts THEREOF sufficient for a burnt offering. 22 It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants THEREOF are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in: ISAIAH 41 5 The isles saw it, and feared; the ends of the earth were AFRAID, drew near, and came. 9 Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men THEREOF, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away. ISAIAH 42 10 Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants THEREOF. 11 Let the wilderness and the cities THEREOF lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains. ISAIAH 44 8 Fear ye not, neither be AFRAID: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any. 15 Then shall it be for a man to burn: for he will take THEREOF, and warm himself; yea, he kindleth it, and baketh bread; yea, he maketh a god, and worshippeth it; he maketh it a graven image, and falleth down thereto. 16 He burneth part THEREOF in the fire; with part THEREOF he eateth flesh; he roasteth roast, and is satisfied: yea, he warmeth himself, and saith, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire: 17 And the residue THEREOF he maketh a god, even his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth it, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god. 19 And none considereth in his heart, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals THEREOF; I have roasted flesh, and eaten it: and shall I make the residue THEREOF an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree? 26 That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places THEREOF: ISAIAH 48 19 Thy seed also had been as the sand, and the offspring of thy bowels like the gravel THEREOF; his name should not have been cut off nor destroyed from before me. ISAIAH 51 7 Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye AFRAID of their revilings. 12 I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be AFRAID of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass; ISAIAH 57 11 And of whom hast thou been AFRAID or feared, that thou hast lied, and hast not remembered me, nor laid it to thy heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and thou fearest me not? JEREMIAH 2 7 And I brought you into a plentiful country, to eat the fruit THEREOF and the goodness THEREOF; but when ye entered, ye defiled my land, and made mine heritage an abomination. 12 Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly AFRAID, be ye very desolate, saith the LORD.
