ISAIAH 29 19 The meek also shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the HOLY One of Israel. 23 But when he seeth his children, the work of mine hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name, and sanctify the HOLY One of Jacob, and shall fear the God of Israel. ISAIAH 30 11 Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the HOLY One of Israel to cease from before us. 12 Wherefore thus saith the HOLY One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon: 15 For thus saith the Lord GOD, the HOLY One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not. 16 But ye said, No; for we will FLEE upon horses; therefore shall ye FLEE: and, We will ride upon the swift; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift. 17 One thousand shall FLEE at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall ye FLEE: till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on an hill. 29 Ye shall have a song, as in the night when a HOLY solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one goeth with a pipe to come into the mountain of the LORD, to the mighty One of Israel. ISAIAH 31 1 Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the HOLY One of Israel, neither seek the LORD! 8 Then shall the Assyrian fall with the sword, not of a mighty man; and the sword, not of a mean man, shall devour him: but he shall FLEE from the sword, and his young men shall be discomfited. ISAIAH 35 10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall FLEE away. ISAIAH 37 23 Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the HOLY One of Israel. ISAIAH 51 11 Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall FLEE away. ISAIAH 54 5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the HOLY One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called. ISAIAH 55 5 Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the HOLY One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee. ISAIAH 56 7 Even them will I bring to my HOLY mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people. ISAIAH 57 13 When thou criest, let thy companies deliver thee; but the wind shall carry them all away; vanity shall take them: but he that putteth his trust in me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my HOLY mountain; 15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is HOLY; I dwell in the high and HOLY place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. ISAIAH 58 13 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my HOLY day; and call the sabbath a delight, the HOLY of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: ISAIAH 60 9 Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD thy God, and to the HOLY One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee. 14 The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee; The city of the LORD, The Zion of the HOLY One of Israel. ISAIAH 62 12 And they shall call them, The HOLY people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken. ISAIAH 63 10 But they rebelled, and vexed his HOLY Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them. 11 Then he remembered the days of old, Moses, and his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where is he that put his HOLY Spirit within him? ISAIAH 64 10 Thy HOLY cities are a wilderness, Zion is a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation. 11 Our HOLY and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised thee, is burned up with fire: and all our pleasant things are laid waste. ISAIAH 65 11 But ye are they that forsake the LORD, that forget my HOLY mountain, that prepare a table for that troop, and that furnish the drink offering unto that number. 25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my HOLY mountain, saith the LORD. ISAIAH 66 20 And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my HOLY mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD. JEREMIAH 4 29 The whole city shall FLEE for the noise of the horsemen and bowmen; they shall go into thickets, and climb up upon the rocks: every city shall be forsaken, and not a man dwell therein. JEREMIAH 6 1 O ye children of Benjamin, gather yourselves to FLEE out of the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the trumpet in Tekoa, and set up a sign of fire in Bethhaccerem: for evil appeareth out of the north, and great destruction. JEREMIAH 11 15 What hath my beloved to do in mine house, seeing she hath wrought lewdness with many, and the HOLY flesh is passed from thee? when thou doest evil, then thou rejoicest. JEREMIAH 25 30 Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto them, The LORD shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his HOLY habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth. 35 And the shepherds shall have no way to FLEE, nor the principal of the flock to escape. JEREMIAH 31 40 And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be HOLY unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever. --MORE-- |
