DEUTERONOMY 28 7 The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and FLEE before thee seven ways. 9 The LORD shall establish thee an HOLY people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways. 25 The LORD shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and FLEE seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth. DEUTERONOMY 33 8 And of Levi he said, Let thy Thummim and thy Urim be with thy HOLY one, whom thou didst prove at Massah, and with whom thou didst strive at the waters of Meribah; JOSHUA 5 15 And the captain of the LORD's host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is HOLY. And Joshua did so. JOSHUA 8 5 And I, and all the people that are with me, will approach unto the city: and it shall come to pass, when they come out against us, as at the first, that we will FLEE before them, 6 (For they will come out after us) till we have drawn them from the city; for they will say, They FLEE before us, as at the first: therefore we will FLEE before them. 20 And when the men of Ai looked behind them, they saw, and, behold, the smoke of the city ascended up to heaven, and they had no power to FLEE this way or that way: and the people that fled to the wilderness turned back upon the pursuers. JOSHUA 20 3 That the slayer that killeth any person unawares and unwittingly may FLEE thither: and they shall be your refuge from the avenger of blood. 4 And when he that doth FLEE unto one of those cities shall stand at the entering of the gate of the city, and shall declare his cause in the ears of the elders of that city, they shall take him into the city unto them, and give him a place, that he may dwell among them. 9 These were the cities appointed for all the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them, that whosoever killeth any person at unawares might FLEE thither, and not die by the hand of the avenger of blood, until he stood before the congregation. JOSHUA 24 19 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD: for he is an HOLY God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins. JUDGES 20 32 And the children of Benjamin said, They are smitten down before us, as at the first. Therefore king Rehoboam made speed to get him up to his chariot, to FLEE to Jerusalem. 2 KINGS 4 9 And she said unto her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is an HOLY man of God, which passeth by us continually. 2 KINGS 9 3 Then take the box of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, Thus saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king over Israel.
