AMOS 9 5 And the Lord GOD of hosts is he that toucheth the LAND, and it shall melt, and all that dwell therein shall mourn: and it shall rise up wholly like a flood; and shall be drowned, as by the flood of Egypt. 7 Are ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? saith the LORD. Have not I brought up Israel out of the LAND of Egypt? and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir? 15 And I will plant them upon their LAND, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their LAND which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God. JONAH 1 5 Then the mariners were AFRAID, and cried every man unto his god, and cast forth the wares that were in the ship into the sea, to lighten it of them. But Jonah was gone down into the sides of the ship; and he lay, and was fast asleep. 9 And he said unto them, I am an Hebrew; and I fear the LORD, the God of heaven, which hath made the sea and the dry LAND. 10 Then were the men exceedingly AFRAID, and said unto him. Why hast thou done this? For the men knew that he fled from the presence of the LORD, because he had told them. 13 Nevertheless the men rowed hard to bring it to the LAND; but they could not: for the sea wrought, and was tempestuous against them. JONAH 2 10 And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry LAND. MICAH 4 4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them AFRAID: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it. MICAH 5 5 And this man shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our LAND: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men. 6 And they shall waste the LAND of Assyria with the sword, and the LAND of Nimrod in the entrances thereof: thus shall he deliver us from the Assyrian, when he cometh into our LAND, and when he treadeth within our borders. 11 And I will cut off the cities of thy LAND, and throw down all thy strong holds: MICAH 6 4 For I brought thee up out of the LAND of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of servants; and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam. MICAH 7 13 Notwithstanding the LAND shall be desolate because of them that dwell therein, for the fruit of their doings. 15 According to the days of thy coming out of the LAND of Egypt will I shew unto him marvellous things. 17 They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be AFRAID of the LORD our God, and shall fear because of thee. NAHUM 2 11 Where is the dwelling of the lions, and the feedingplace of the young lions, where the lion, even the old lion, walked, and the lion's whelp, and none made them AFRAID? NAHUM 3 13 Behold, thy people in the midst of thee are women: the gates of thy LAND shall be set wide open unto thine enemies: the fire shall devour thy bars. HABAKKUK 2 8 Because thou hast spoiled many nations, all the remnant of the people shall spoil thee; because of men's blood, and for the violence of the LAND, of the city, and of all that dwell therein. 17 For the violence of Lebanon shall cover thee, and the spoil of beasts, which made them AFRAID, because of men's blood, and for the violence of the LAND, of the city, and of all that dwell therein. HABAKKUK 3 2 O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was AFRAID: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy. 7 I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction: and the curtains of the LAND of Midian did tremble. 12 Thou didst march through the LAND in indignation, thou didst thresh the heathen in anger. ZEPHANIAH 1 2 I will utterly consume all things from off the LAND, saith the LORD. 3 I will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls of the heaven, and the fishes of the sea, and the stumbling blocks with the wicked: and I will cut off man from off the LAND, saith the LORD. 18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD's wrath; but the whole LAND shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the LAND. ZEPHANIAH 2 5 Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast, the nation of the Cherethites! the word of the LORD is against you; O Canaan, the LAND of the Philistines, I will even destroy thee, that there shall be no inhabitant. ZEPHANIAH 3 13 The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them AFRAID. 19 Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict thee: and I will save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every LAND where they have been put to shame. ZECHARIAH 1 21 Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the LAND of Judah to scatter it. ZECHARIAH 2 6 Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the LAND of the north, saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD. 12 And the LORD shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy LAND, and shall choose Jerusalem again. ZECHARIAH 3 9 For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that LAND in one day. ZECHARIAH 5 11 And he said unto me, To build it an house in the LAND of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base. ZECHARIAH 7 5 Speak unto all the people of the LAND, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even to me? 14 But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations whom they knew not. Thus the LAND was desolate after them, that no man passed through nor returned: for they laid the pleasant LAND desolate. ZECHARIAH 9 1 The burden of the word of the LORD in the LAND of Hadrach, and Damascus shall be the rest thereof: when the eyes of man, as of all the tribes of Israel, shall be toward the LORD. 16 And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they shall be as the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign upon his LAND. ZECHARIAH 10 10 I will bring them again also out of the LAND of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria; and I will bring them into the LAND of Gilead and Lebanon; and place shall not be found for them. ZECHARIAH 12 12 And the LAND shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart; ZECHARIAH 13 2 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the LAND, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the LAND. 8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the LAND, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. ZECHARIAH 14 10 All the LAND shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king's winepresses. MALACHI 2 5 My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was AFRAID before my name. MATTHEW 2 6 And thou Bethlehem, in the LAND of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel. 20 Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the LAND of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child's life. 21 And he arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the LAND of Israel. 22 But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was AFRAID to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee: MATTHEW 4 15 The LAND of Zabulon, and the LAND of Nephthalim, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles; MATTHEW 9 26 And the fame hereof went abroad into all that LAND. --MORE-- |
