PROVERBS 21 13 Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the POOR, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard. 17 He that loveth pleasure shall be a POOR man: he that loveth wine and oil shall not be rich. ISAIAH 11 4 But with righteousness shall he judge the POOR, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. ISAIAH 12 2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be AFRAID: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. That the LORD hath founded Zion, and the POOR of his people shall trust in it. ISAIAH 20 5 And they shall be AFRAID and ashamed of Ethiopia their expectation, and of Egypt their glory. ISAIAH 25 4 For thou hast been a strength to the POOR, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall. ISAIAH 26 6 The foot shall tread it down, even the feet of the POOR, and the steps of the needy. ISAIAH 29 19 The meek also shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the POOR among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. ISAIAH 31 4 For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be AFRAID of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof. 9 And he shall pass over to his strong hold for fear, and his princes shall be AFRAID of the ensign, saith the LORD, whose fire is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem.
