EXODUS 32 1 And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which SHALL go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him. 13 Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they SHALL inherit it for ever. 23 For they said unto me, Make us gods, which SHALL go before us: for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him. 30 And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses said unto the people, Ye have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto the LORD; peradventure I SHALL make an atonement for your sin. 34 Therefore now go, lead the people unto the place of which I have spoken unto thee: behold, mine Angel SHALL go before thee: nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit their sin upon them. EXODUS 33 14 And he said, My presence SHALL go with thee, and I will give thee rest. 16 For wherein SHALL it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so SHALL we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth. 20 And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there SHALL no man see me, and live. 22 And it SHALL come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: 23 And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face SHALL not be seen. EXODUS 34 3 And no man SHALL come up with thee, neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount. 10 And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art SHALL see the work of the LORD: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee. 13 But ye SHALL destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves: 20 But the firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb: and if thou redeem him not, then shalt thou break his neck. All the firstborn of thy sons thou shalt redeem. And none SHALL appear before me empty. 23 Thrice in the year SHALL all your menchildren appear before the LORD God, the God of Israel. 24 For I will cast out the nations before thee, and enlarge thy borders: neither SHALL any man desire thy land, when thou shalt go up to appear before the LORD thy God thrice in the year. 25 Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leaven; neither SHALL the sacrifice of the feast of the passover be left unto the morning. 30 And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were AFRAID to come nigh him. EXODUS 35 2 Six days SHALL work be done, but on the seventh day there SHALL be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the LORD: whosoever doeth work therein SHALL be put to death. 3 Ye SHALL kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day. 10 And every wise hearted among you SHALL come, and make all that the LORD hath commanded; EXODUS 40 9 And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shalt hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and it SHALL be holy. 10 And thou shalt anoint the altar of the burnt offering, and all his vessels, and sanctify the altar: and it SHALL be an altar most holy. 15 And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office: for their anointing SHALL surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations. LEVITICUS 1 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man of you bring an offering unto the LORD, ye SHALL bring your offering of the cattle, even of the herd, and of the flock. 3 If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he SHALL offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD. 4 And he SHALL put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering; and it SHALL be accepted for him to make atonement for him. 5 And he SHALL kill the bullock before the LORD: and the priests, Aaron's sons, SHALL bring the blood, and sprinkle the blood round about upon the altar that is by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. 6 And he SHALL flay the burnt offering, and cut it into his pieces. 7 And the sons of Aaron the priest SHALL put fire upon the altar, and lay the wood in order upon the fire: 8 And the priests, Aaron's sons, SHALL lay the parts, the head, and the fat, in order upon the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar: 9 But his inwards and his legs SHALL he wash in water: and the priest SHALL burn all on the altar, to be a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD. 10 And if his offering be of the flocks, namely, of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt sacrifice; he SHALL bring it a male without blemish. 11 And he SHALL kill it on the side of the altar northward before the LORD: and the priests, Aaron's sons, SHALL sprinkle his blood round about upon the altar. 12 And he SHALL cut it into his pieces, with his head and his fat: and the priest SHALL lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar: 13 But he SHALL wash the inwards and the legs with water: and the priest SHALL bring it all, and burn it upon the altar: it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD. 14 And if the burnt sacrifice for his offering to the LORD be of fowls, then he SHALL bring his offering of turtledoves, or of young pigeons. 15 And the priest SHALL bring it unto the altar, and wring off his head, and burn it on the altar; and the blood thereof SHALL be wrung out at the side of the altar: 16 And he SHALL pluck away his crop with his feathers, and cast it beside the altar on the east part, by the place of the ashes: 17 And he SHALL cleave it with the wings thereof, but SHALL not divide it asunder: and the priest SHALL burn it upon the altar, upon the wood that is upon the fire: it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD. LEVITICUS 2 1 And when any will offer a meat offering unto the LORD, his offering SHALL be of fine flour; and he SHALL pour oil upon it, and put frankincense thereon: 2 And he SHALL bring it to Aaron's sons the priests: and he SHALL take thereout his handful of the flour thereof, and of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof; and the priest SHALL burn the memorial of it upon the altar, to be an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD: 3 And the remnant of the meat offering SHALL be Aaron's and his sons': it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD made by fire. 4 And if thou bring an oblation of a meat offering baken in the oven, it SHALL be unleavened cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil. 5 And if thy oblation be a meat offering baken in a pan, it SHALL be of fine flour unleavened, mingled with oil. 7 And if thy oblation be a meat offering baken in the fryingpan, it SHALL be made of fine flour with oil. 8 And thou shalt bring the meat offering that is made of these things unto the LORD: and when it is presented unto the priest, he SHALL bring it unto the altar. 9 And the priest SHALL take from the meat offering a memorial thereof, and SHALL burn it upon the altar: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD. 10 And that which is left of the meat offering SHALL be Aaron's and his sons': it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD made by fire. 11 No meat offering, which ye SHALL bring unto the LORD, SHALL be made with leaven: for ye SHALL burn no leaven, nor any honey, in any offering of the LORD made by fire. 12 As for the oblation of the firstfruits, ye SHALL offer them unto the LORD: but they SHALL not be burnt on the altar for a sweet savour. 16 And the priest SHALL burn the memorial of it, part of the beaten corn thereof, and part of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof: it is an offering made by fire unto the LORD. --MORE-- |
