LAMENTATIONS 4 10 The hands of the pitiful women have sodden their own children: they were their MEAT in the destruction of the daughter of my people. EZEKIEL 2 6 And thou, son of man, be not AFRAID of them, neither be AFRAID of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not AFRAID of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. EZEKIEL 4 10 And thy MEAT which thou shalt eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time shalt thou eat it. EZEKIEL 32 10 Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, and their kings shall be horribly AFRAID for thee, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall. EZEKIEL 34 5 And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became MEAT to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered. 8 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became MEAT to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock; 10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be MEAT for them. 28 And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them AFRAID. EZEKIEL 39 26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them AFRAID. EZEKIEL 42 13 Then said he unto me, The north chambers and the south chambers, which are before the separate place, they be holy chambers, where the priests that approach unto the LORD shall eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the most holy things, and the MEAT offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; for the place is holy. EZEKIEL 44 29 They shall eat the MEAT offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering: and every dedicated thing in Israel shall be theirs. EZEKIEL 45 15 And one lamb out of the flock, out of two hundred, out of the fat pastures of Israel; for a MEAT offering, and for a burnt offering, and for peace offerings, to make reconciliation for them, saith the Lord GOD. 17 And it shall be the prince's part to give burnt offerings, and MEAT offerings, and drink offerings, in the feasts, and in the new moons, and in the sabbaths, in all solemnities of the house of Israel: he shall prepare the sin offering, and the MEAT offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make reconciliation for the house of Israel. 24 And he shall prepare a MEAT offering of an ephah for a bullock, and an ephah for a ram, and an hin of oil for an ephah. 25 In the seventh month, in the fifteenth day of the month, shall he do the like in the feast of the seven days, according to the sin offering, according to the burnt offering, and according to the MEAT offering, and according to the oil. EZEKIEL 46 5 And the MEAT offering shall be an ephah for a ram, and the MEAT offering for the lambs as he shall be able to give, and an hin of oil to an ephah. 7 And he shall prepare a MEAT offering, an ephah for a bullock, and an ephah for a ram, and for the lambs according as his hand shall attain unto, and an hin of oil to an ephah. 11 And in the feasts and in the solemnities the MEAT offering shall be an ephah to a bullock, and an ephah to a ram, and to the lambs as he is able to give, and an hin of oil to an ephah. 14 And thou shalt prepare a MEAT offering for it every morning, the sixth part of an ephah, and the third part of an hin of oil, to temper with the fine flour; a MEAT offering continually by a perpetual ordinance unto the LORD. 15 Thus shall they prepare the lamb, and the MEAT offering, and the oil, every morning for a continual burnt offering. 20 Then said he unto me, This is the place where the priests shall boil the trespass offering and the sin offering, where they shall bake the MEAT offering; that they bear them not out into the utter court, to sanctify the people. EZEKIEL 47 12 And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for MEAT, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for MEAT, and the leaf thereof for medicine. DANIEL 1 5 And the king appointed them a daily provision of the king's MEAT, and of the wine which he drank: so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they might stand before the king. 8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's MEAT, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. 10 And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your MEAT and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king. 13 Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king's MEAT: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants. 15 And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's MEAT. 16 Thus Melzar took away the portion of their MEAT, and the wine that they should drink; and gave them pulse. DANIEL 4 5 I saw a dream which made me AFRAID, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me. 12 The leaves thereof were fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it was MEAT for all: the beasts of the field had shadow under it, and the fowls of the heaven dwelt in the boughs thereof, and all flesh was fed of it. 21 Whose leaves were fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it was MEAT for all; under which the beasts of the field dwelt, and upon whose branches the fowls of the heaven had their habitation: DANIEL 8 17 So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was AFRAID, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision. DANIEL 11 26 Yea, they that feed of the portion of his MEAT shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain. HOSEA 11 4 I drew them with cords of a man, with bands of love: and I was to them as they that take off the yoke on their jaws, and I laid MEAT unto them. JOEL 1 9 The MEAT offering and the drink offering is cut off from the house of the LORD; the priests, the LORD's ministers, mourn. 13 Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for the MEAT offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your God. 16 Is not the MEAT cut off before our eyes, yea, joy and gladness from the house of our God? JOEL 2 14 Who knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a MEAT offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God? 22 Be not AFRAID, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength. AMOS 3 6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be AFRAID? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it? AMOS 5 22 Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your MEAT offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts. JONAH 1 5 Then the mariners were AFRAID, and cried every man unto his god, and cast forth the wares that were in the ship into the sea, to lighten it of them. MICAH 4 4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them AFRAID: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it. MICAH 7 17 They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be AFRAID of the LORD our God, and shall fear because of thee.
