NUMBERS 4 1 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto AARON, saying, 5 And when the camp setteth forward, AARON shall come, and his sons, and they shall take down the covering vail, and cover the ark of testimony with it: 15 And when AARON and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation. 16 And to the office of Eleazar the son of AARON the priest pertaineth the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the daily meat offering, and the anointing oil, and the oversight of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein is, in the sanctuary, and in the vessels thereof. 17 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto AARON saying, 19 But thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the most holy things: AARON and his sons shall go in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden: 27 At the appointment of AARON and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burdens, and in all their service: and ye shall appoint unto them in charge all their burdens. 28 This is the service of the families of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation: and their charge shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of AARON the priest. 33 This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service, in the tabernacle of the congregation, under the hand of Ithamar the son of AARON the priest. 34 And Moses and AARON and the chief of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites after their families, and after the house of their fathers, 37 These were they that were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, which Moses and AARON did number according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses. 41 These are they that were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, of all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, whom Moses and AARON did number according to the commandment of the LORD. 45 These be those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and AARON numbered according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses. 46 All those that were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and AARON and the chief of Israel numbered, after their families, and after the house of their fathers, 48 Even those that were numbered of them, were eight thousand and FIVE hundred and fourscore, NUMBERS 6 18 And the Nazarite shall shave the head of his separation at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall take the hair of the head of his separation, and put it in the FIRE which is under the sacrifice of the peace offerings. 23 Speak unto AARON and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them, NUMBERS 7 8 And four wagons and eight oxen he gave unto the sons of Merari, according unto their service, under the hand of Ithamar the son of AARON the priest. 17 And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, FIVE rams, FIVE he goats, FIVE lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Nahshon the son of Amminadab. 23 And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, FIVE rams, FIVE he goats, FIVE lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Nethaneel the son of Zuar. 29 And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, FIVE rams, FIVE he goats, FIVE lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Eliab the son of Helon. 35 And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, FIVE rams, FIVE he goats, FIVE lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Elizur the son of Shedeur. 41 And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, FIVE rams, FIVE he goats, FIVE lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai. 47 And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, FIVE rams, FIVE he goats, FIVE lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Eliasaph the son of Deuel. 53 And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, FIVE rams, FIVE he goats, FIVE lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Elishama the son of Ammihud. 59 And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, FIVE rams, FIVE he goats, FIVE lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur. 65 And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, FIVE rams, FIVE he goats, FIVE lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Abidan the son of Gideoni. 71 And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, FIVE rams, FIVE he goats, FIVE lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai. 77 And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, FIVE rams, FIVE he goats, FIVE lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Pagiel the son of Ocran. 83 And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, FIVE rams, FIVE he goats, FIVE lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Ahira the son of Enan. NUMBERS 8 2 Speak unto AARON and say unto him, When thou lightest the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light over against the candlestick. 3 And AARON did so; he lighted the lamps thereof over against the candlestick, as the LORD commanded Moses. 11 And AARON shall offer the Levites before the LORD for an offering of the children of Israel, that they may execute the service of the LORD. 13 And thou shalt set the Levites before AARON, and before his sons, and offer them for an offering unto the LORD. 19 And I have given the Levites as a gift to AARON and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel: that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come nigh unto the sanctuary. 20 And Moses, and AARON, and all the congregation of the children of Israel, did to the Levites according unto all that the LORD commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did the children of Israel unto them. 21 And the Levites were purified, and they washed their clothes; and AARON offered them as an offering before the LORD; and AARON made an atonement for them to cleanse them. 22 And after that went the Levites in to do their service in the tabernacle of the congregation before AARON, and before his sons: as the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did they unto them. 24 This is it that belongeth unto the Levites: from twenty and FIVE years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the service of the tabernacle of the congregation: NUMBERS 9 6 And there were certain men, who were defiled by the dead body of a man, that they could not keep the passover on that day: and they came before Moses and before AARON on that day: 15 And on the day that the tabernacle was reared up the cloud covered the tabernacle, namely, the tent of the testimony: and at even there was upon the tabernacle as it were the appearance of FIRE, until the morning. 16 So it was alway: the cloud covered it by day, and the appearance of FIRE by night. NUMBERS 10 8 And the sons of AARON, the priests, shall blow with the trumpets; and they shall be to you for an ordinance for ever throughout your generations. NUMBERS 11 1 And when the people complained, it displeased the LORD: and the LORD heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the FIRE of the LORD burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp. 2 And the people cried unto Moses; and when Moses prayed unto the LORD, the FIRE was quenched. 3 And he called the name of the place Taberah: because the FIRE of the LORD burnt among them. 14 I am not ABLE to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy for me. 19 Ye shall not eat one day, nor two days, nor FIVE days, neither ten days, nor twenty days; NUMBERS 12 1 And Miriam and AARON spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman. 4 And the LORD spake suddenly unto Moses, and unto AARON, and unto Miriam, Come out ye three unto the tabernacle of the congregation. And they three came out. 5 And the LORD came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called AARON and Miriam: and they both came forth. 10 And the cloud departed from off the tabernacle; and, behold, Miriam became leprous, white as snow: and AARON looked upon Miriam, and, behold, she was leprous. 11 And AARON said unto Moses, Alas, my lord, I beseech thee, lay not the sin upon us, wherein we have done foolishly, and wherein we have sinned. --MORE-- |
