JOSHUA 24 5 I sent Moses also and AARON, and I plagued Egypt, according to that which I did among them: and afterward I brought you out. 33 And Eleazar the son of AARON died; and they buried him in a hill that pertained to Phinehas his son, which was given him in mount Ephraim. JUDGES 20 28 And Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of AARON, stood before it in those days,) saying, Shall I yet again go out to battle against the children of Benjamin my brother, or shall I cease? And the LORD said, Go up; for to morrow I will deliver them into thine hand. 1 SAMUEL 12 6 And Samuel said unto the people, It is the LORD that advanced Moses and AARON, and that brought your fathers up out of the land of Egypt. 8 When Jacob was come into Egypt, and your fathers cried unto the LORD, then the LORD sent Moses and AARON, which brought forth your fathers out of Egypt, and made them dwell in this place. 1 SAMUEL 22 20 And one of the sons of Ahimelech the son of Ahitub, named ABIATHAR, escaped, and fled after David. 21 And ABIATHAR shewed David that Saul had slain the LORD's priests. 22 And David said unto ABIATHAR, I knew it that day, when Doeg the Edomite was there, that he would surely tell Saul: I have occasioned the death of all the persons of thy father's house. 1 SAMUEL 23 6 And it came to pass, when ABIATHAR the son of Ahimelech fled to David to Keilah, that he came down with an ephod in his hand. 9 And David knew that Saul secretly practised mischief against him; and he said to ABIATHAR the priest, Bring hither the ephod. 1 SAMUEL 30 7 And David said to ABIATHAR the priest, Ahimelech's son, I pray thee, bring me hither the ephod. And ABIATHAR brought thither the ephod to David. 2 SAMUEL 8 17 And Zadok the son of Ahitub, and Ahimelech the son of ABIATHAR, were the priests; and Seraiah was the scribe; 2 SAMUEL 15 24 And lo Zadok also, and all the Levites were with him, bearing the ark of the covenant of God: and they set down the ark of God; and ABIATHAR went up, until all the people had done passing out of the city. 27 The king said also unto Zadok the priest, Art not thou a seer? return into the city in peace, and your two sons with you, Ahimaaz thy son, and Jonathan the son of ABIATHAR. 29 Zadok therefore and ABIATHAR carried the ark of God again to Jerusalem: and they tarried there. 35 And hast thou not there with thee Zadok and ABIATHAR the priests? therefore it shall be, that what thing soever thou shalt hear out of the king's house, thou shalt tell it to Zadok and ABIATHAR the priests. 36 Behold, they have there with them their two sons, Ahimaaz Zadok's son, and Jonathan ABIATHAR's son; and by them ye shall send unto me every thing that ye can hear. 2 SAMUEL 17 15 Then said Hushai unto Zadok and to ABIATHAR the priests, Thus and thus did Ahithophel counsel Absalom and the elders of Israel; and thus and thus have I counselled. 2 SAMUEL 19 11 And king David sent to Zadok and to ABIATHAR the priests, saying, Speak unto the elders of Judah, saying, Why are ye the last to bring the king back to his house? seeing the speech of all Israel is come to the king, even to his house. 2 SAMUEL 20 25 And Sheva was scribe: and Zadok and ABIATHAR were the priests: 2 SAMUEL 22 27 With the PURE thou wilt shew thyself PURE; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself unsavoury. 1 KINGS 1 7 And he conferred with Joab the son of Zeruiah, and with ABIATHAR the priest: and they following Adonijah helped him. 19 And he hath slain oxen and fat cattle and sheep in abundance, and hath called all the sons of the king, and ABIATHAR the priest, and Joab the captain of the host: but Solomon thy servant hath he not called. 25 For he is gone down this day, and hath slain oxen and fat cattle and sheep in abundance, and hath called all the king's sons, and the captains of the host, and ABIATHAR the priest; and, behold, they eat and drink before him, and say, God save king Adonijah. 42 And while he yet spake, behold, Jonathan the son of ABIATHAR the priest came; and Adonijah said unto him, Come in; for thou art a valiant man, and bringest good tidings. 1 KINGS 2 22 And king Solomon answered and said unto his mother, And why dost thou ask Abishag the Shunammite for Adonijah? ask for him the kingdom also; for he is mine elder brother; even for him, and for ABIATHAR the priest, and for Joab the son of Zeruiah. 26 And unto ABIATHAR the priest said the king, Get thee to Anathoth, unto thine own fields; for thou art worthy of death: but I will not at this time put thee to death, because thou barest the ark of the LORD God before David my father, and because thou hast been afflicted in all wherein my father was afflicted. 27 So Solomon thrust out ABIATHAR from being priest unto the LORD; that he might fulfil the word of the LORD, which he spake concerning the house of Eli in Shiloh. 35 And the king put Benaiah the son of Jehoiada in his room over the host: and Zadok the priest did the king put in the room of ABIATHAR. 1 KINGS 4 4 And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the host: and Zadok and ABIATHAR were the priests: 32 And he spake three thousand PROVERBS: and his songs were a thousand and five. 1 KINGS 5 11 And Solomon gave Hiram twenty thousand measures of wheat for food to his household, and twenty measures of PURE oil: thus gave Solomon to Hiram year by year. 1 KINGS 6 20 And the oracle in the forepart was twenty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in breadth, and twenty cubits in the height thereof: and he overlaid it with PURE gold; and so covered the altar which was of cedar. 21 So Solomon overlaid the house within with PURE gold: and he made a partition by the chains of gold before the oracle; and he overlaid it with gold. 1 KINGS 7 49 And the candlesticks of PURE gold, five on the right side, and five on the left, before the oracle, with the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs of gold, 50 And the bowls, and the snuffers, and the basons, and the spoons, and the censers of PURE gold; and the hinges of gold, both for the doors of the inner house, the most holy place, and for the doors of the house, to wit, of the temple. 1 KINGS 10 21 And all king Solomon's drinking vessels were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon were of PURE gold; none were of silver: it was nothing accounted of in the days of Solomon. 1 CHRONICLES 6 3 And the children of Amram; AARON, and Moses, and Miriam. The sons also of AARON; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. 49 But AARON and his sons offered upon the altar of the burnt offering, and on the altar of incense, and were appointed for all the work of the place most holy, and to make an atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded. 50 And these are the sons of AARON; Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son, 54 Now these are their dwelling places throughout their castles in their coasts, of the sons of AARON, of the families of the Kohathites: for theirs was the lot. 57 And to the sons of AARON they gave the cities of Judah, namely, Hebron, the city of refuge, and Libnah with her suburbs, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa, with their suburbs, 1 CHRONICLES 15 4 And David assembled the children of AARON, and the Levites: 11 And David called for Zadok and ABIATHAR the priests, and for the Levites, for Uriel, Asaiah, and Joel, Shemaiah, and Eliel, and Amminadab, 1 CHRONICLES 18 16 And Zadok the son of Ahitub, and Abimelech the son of ABIATHAR, were the priests; and Shavsha was scribe; 1 CHRONICLES 23 13 The sons of Amram; AARON and Moses: and AARON was separated, that he should sanctify the most holy things, he and his sons for ever, to burn incense before the LORD, to minister unto him, and to bless in his name for ever. 28 Because their office was to wait on the sons of AARON for the service of the house of the LORD, in the courts, and in the chambers, and in the purifying of all holy things, and the work of the service of the house of God; 32 And that they should keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the holy place, and the charge of the sons of AARON their brethren, in the service of the house of the LORD. 1 CHRONICLES 24 1 Now these are the divisions of the sons of AARON. The sons of AARON; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. 6 And Shemaiah the son of Nethaneel the scribe, one of the Levites, wrote them before the king, and the princes, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech the son of ABIATHAR, and before the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites: one principal household being taken for Eleazar, and one taken for Ithamar. 19 These were the orderings of them in their service to come into the house of the LORD, according to their manner, under AARON their father, as the LORD God of Israel had commanded him. 31 These likewise cast lots over against their brethren the sons of AARON in the presence of David the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites, even the principal fathers over against their younger brethren. --MORE-- |
