DEUTERONOMY 10 1 At that time the LORD said unto me, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the FIRST, and come up unto me into the mount, and make thee an ark of wood. 2 And I will write on the tables the words that were in the FIRST tables which thou brakest, and thou shalt put them in the ark. 3 And I made an ark of shittim wood, and hewed two tables of stone like unto the FIRST, and went up into the mount, having the two tables in mine hand. 4 And he wrote on the tables, according to the FIRST writing, the ten commandments, which the LORD spake unto you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly: and the LORD gave them unto me. 10 And I stayed in the mount, according to the FIRST time, forty days and forty nights; and the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also, and the LORD would not destroy thee. DEUTERONOMY 11 14 That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the FIRST rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil. DEUTERONOMY 13 9 But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be FIRST upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people. DEUTERONOMY 20 1 When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. DEUTERONOMY 26 2 That thou shalt take of the FIRST of all the fruit of the earth, which thou shalt bring of thy land that the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt put it in a basket, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name there. And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth. 20 Then Saul fell straightway all along on the earth, and was sore AFRAID, because of the words of Samuel: and there was no strength in him; for he had eaten no bread all the day, nor all the night. 1 SAMUEL 31 4 Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore AFRAID. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it. 2 SAMUEL 1 14 And David said unto him, How wast thou not AFRAID to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD's anointed? 2 SAMUEL 3 13 And he said, Well; I will make a league with thee: but one thing I require of thee, that is, Thou shalt not see my face, except thou FIRST bring Michal Saul's daughter, when thou comest to see my face. --MORE-- |
