DEUTERONOMY 4 9 Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou FORGET the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons; 11 And ye came near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain burned with FIRE unto the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds, and thick darkness. 12 And the LORD spake unto you out of the midst of the FIRE: ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only ye heard a voice. 15 Take ye therefore good heed unto yourselves; for ye saw no manner of similitude on the day that the LORD spake unto you in Horeb out of the midst of the FIRE: 23 Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye FORGET the covenant of the LORD your God, which he made with you, and make you a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, which the LORD thy God hath forbidden thee. 24 For the LORD thy God is a consuming FIRE, even a jealous God. 31 (For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor FORGET the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them. 33 Did ever people hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the FIRE, as thou hast heard, and live? 36 Out of heaven he made thee to hear his voice, that he might instruct thee: and upon earth he shewed thee his great FIRE; and thou heardest his words out of the midst of the FIRE. DEUTERONOMY 5 4 The LORD talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the FIRE, 5 (I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to shew you the word of the LORD: for ye were afraid by reason of the FIRE, and went not up into the mount;) saying, 22 These words the LORD spake unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the FIRE, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and he added no more. And he wrote them in two tables of stone, and delivered them unto me. 23 And it came to pass, when ye heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, (for the mountain did burn with FIRE,) that ye came near unto me, even all the heads of your tribes, and your elders; 24 And ye said, Behold, the LORD our God hath shewed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the FIRE: we have seen this day that God doth talk with man, and he liveth. 25 Now therefore why should we die? for this great FIRE will consume us: if we hear the voice of the LORD our God any more, then we shall die. 26 For who is there of all flesh, that hath heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the FIRE, as we have, and lived? DEUTERONOMY 6 12 Then beware lest thou FORGET the LORD, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. DEUTERONOMY 7 5 But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with FIRE. 25 The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with FIRE: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therin: for it is an abomination to the LORD thy God. DEUTERONOMY 8 8 A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and FIG trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey; 11 Beware that thou FORGET not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day: 14 Then thine heart be lifted up, and thou FORGET the LORD thy God, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage; 19 And it shall be, if thou do at all FORGET the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish. DEUTERONOMY 9 3 Understand therefore this day, that the LORD thy God is he which goeth over before thee; as a consuming FIRE he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the LORD hath said unto thee. 7 Remember, and FORGET not, how thou provokedst the LORD thy God to wrath in the wilderness: from the day that thou didst depart out of the land of Egypt, until ye came unto this place, ye have been rebellious against the LORD. 10 And the LORD delivered unto me two tables of stone written with the finger of God; and on them was written according to all the words, which the LORD spake with you in the mount out of the midst of the FIRE in the day of the assembly. 15 So I turned and came down from the mount, and the mount burned with FIRE: and the two tables of the covenant were in my two hands. 21 And I took your sin, the calf which ye had made, and burnt it with FIRE, and stamped it, and ground it very small, even until it was as small as dust: and I cast the dust thereof into the brook that descended out of the mount. DEUTERONOMY 10 4 And he wrote on the tables, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which the LORD spake unto you in the mount out of the midst of the FIRE in the day of the assembly: and the LORD gave them unto me. DEUTERONOMY 12 3 And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with FIRE; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place. 31 Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the FIRE to their gods. DEUTERONOMY 13 16 And thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and shalt burn with FIRE the city, and all the spoil thereof every whit, for the LORD thy God: and it shall be an heap for ever; it shall not be built again. DEUTERONOMY 18 1 The priests the Levites, and all the tribe of Levi, shall have no part nor inheritance with Israel: they shall eat the offerings of the LORD made by FIRE, and his inheritance. 10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the FIRE, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. 16 According to all that thou desiredst of the LORD thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great FIRE any more, that I die not. DEUTERONOMY 25 19 Therefore it shall be, when the LORD thy God hath given thee rest from all thine enemies round about, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it, that thou shalt blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven; thou shalt not FORGET it. DEUTERONOMY 28 22 The LORD shall smite thee with a consumption, and with a FEVER, and with an inflammation, and with an extreme burning, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they shall pursue thee until thou perish. DEUTERONOMY 32 11 As an eagle stirreth up her nest, FLUTTERETH over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings: 22 For a FIRE is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on FIRE the foundations of the mountains. JOSHUA 6 24 And they burnt the city with FIRE, and all that was therein: only the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of brass and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the LORD. JOSHUA 7 15 And it shall be, that he that is taken with the accursed thing shall be burnt with FIRE, he and all that he hath: because he hath transgressed the covenant of the LORD, and because he hath wrought folly in Israel. 25 And Joshua said, Why hast thou troubled us? the LORD shall trouble thee this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones, and burned them with FIRE, after they had stoned them with stones. JOSHUA 8 8 And it shall be, when ye have taken the city, that ye shall set the city on FIRE: according to the commandment of the LORD shall ye do. See, I have commanded you. 19 And the ambush arose quickly out of their place, and they ran as soon as he had stretched out his hand: and they entered into the city, and took it, and hasted and set the city on FIRE. JOSHUA 11 6 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not afraid because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with FIRE. 9 And Joshua did unto them as the LORD bade him: he houghed their horses, and burnt their chariots with FIRE. 11 And they smote all the souls that were therein with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying them: there was not any left to breathe: and he burnt Hazor with FIRE. JOSHUA 13 14 Only unto the tribes of Levi he gave none inheritance; the sacrifices of the LORD God of Israel made by FIRE are their inheritance, as he said unto them. JUDGES 1 8 Now the children of Judah had fought against Jerusalem, and had taken it, and smitten it with the edge of the sword, and set the city on FIRE. JUDGES 6 21 Then the angel of the LORD put forth the end of the staff that was in his hand, and touched the flesh and the unleavened cakes; and there rose up FIRE out of the rock, and consumed the flesh and the unleavened cakes. Then the angel of the LORD departed out of his sight. --MORE-- |
