And all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the LORD, because the FOUNDATION of the house of the LORD was laid. 12 But many of the priests and Levites and chief of the fathers, who were ancient men, that had seen the first house, when the FOUNDATION of this house was laid before their eyes, wept with a loud voice; and many shouted aloud for joy: EZRA 5 16 Then came the same Sheshbazzar, and laid the FOUNDATION of the house of God which is in Jerusalem: and since that time even until now hath it been in building, and yet it is not finished. EZRA 9 6 And said, O my God, I AM ashamed and blush to lift up my face to thee, my God: for our iniquities are increased over our head, and our trespass is grown up unto the heavens. NEHEMIAH 6 3 And I sent messengers unto them, saying, I AM doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you? 11 And I said, Should such a man as I flee? and who is there, that, being as I AM, would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in.
