1 KINGS 6 37 In the fourth year was the FOUNDATION of the house of the LORD laid, in the month Zif: 1 KINGS 7 9 All these were of costly stones, according to the measures of hewed stones, sawed with saws, within and without, even from the FOUNDATION unto the coping, and so on the outside toward the great court. 10 And the FOUNDATION was of costly stones, even great stones, stones of ten cubits, and stones of eight cubits. 1 KINGS 8 20 And the LORD hath performed his word that he spake, and I AM risen up in the room of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel. 1 KINGS 13 14 And went after the man of God, and found him sitting under an oak: and he said unto him, Art thou the man of God that camest from Judah? And he said, I AM. 18 He said unto him, I AM a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the LORD, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him. 31 And it came to pass, after he had buried him, that he spake to his sons, saying, When I AM dead, then bury me in the sepulchre wherein the man of God is buried; lay my bones beside his bones: 1 KINGS 14 6 And it was so, when Ahijah heard the sound of her feet, as she came in at the door, that he said, Come in, thou wife of Jeroboam; why feignest thou thyself to be another? for I AM sent to thee with heavy tidings. 1 KINGS 16 34 In his days did Hiel the Bethelite build Jericho: he laid the FOUNDATION thereof in Abiram his firstborn, and set up the gates thereof in his youngest son Segub, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Joshua the son of Nun. 1 KINGS 17 12 And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I AM gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die. 1 KINGS 18 8 And he answered him, I AM: go, tell thy lord, Behold, Elijah is here. 12 And it shall come to pass, as soon as I AM gone from thee, that the Spirit of the LORD shall carry thee whither I know not; and so when I come and tell Ahab, and he cannot find thee, he shall slay me: but I thy servant fear the LORD from my youth. 36 And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I AM thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word. 1 KINGS 19 4 But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life; for I AM not better than my fathers. 10 And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, AM left; and they seek my life, to take it away. 14 And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: because the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, AM left; and they seek my life, to take it away. 1 KINGS 20 4 And the king of Israel answered and said, My lord, O king, according to thy saying, I AM thine, and all that I have. 13 And, behold, there came a prophet unto Ahab king of Israel, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Hast thou seen all this great multitude? behold, I will deliver it into thine hand this day; and thou shalt know that I AM the LORD. 28 And there came a man of God, and spake unto the king of Israel, and said, Thus saith the LORD, Because the Syrians have said, The LORD is God of the hills, but he is not God of the valleys, therefore will I deliver all this great multitude into thine hand, and ye shall know that I AM the LORD. 1 KINGS 22 4 And he said unto Jehoshaphat, Wilt thou go with me to battle to Ramothgilead? And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, I AM as thou art, my people as thy people, my horses as thy horses. 34 And a certain man drew a bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness: wherefore he said unto the driver of his chariot, Turn thine hand, and carry me out of the host; for I AM wounded. 2 KINGS 2 10 And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I AM taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so. 2 KINGS 3 7 And he went and sent to Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, saying, The king of Moab hath rebelled against me: wilt thou go with me against Moab to battle? And he said, I will go up: I AM as thou art, my people as thy people, and my horses as thy horses. 2 KINGS 5 7 And it came to pass, when the king of Israel had read the letter, that he rent his clothes, and said, AM I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man doth send unto me to recover a man of his leprosy? wherefore consider, I pray you, and see how he seeketh a quarrel against me. 2 KINGS 16 7 So Ahaz sent messengers to Tiglathpileser king of Assyria, saying, I AM thy servant and thy son: come up, and save me out of the hand of the king of Syria, and out of the hand of the king of Israel, which rise up against me. 2 KINGS 18 25 AM I now come up without the LORD against this place to destroy it? The LORD said to me, Go up against this land, and destroy it. 2 KINGS 19 23 By thy messengers thou hast reproached the LORD, and hast said, With the multitude of my chariots I AM come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon, and will cut down the tall cedar trees thereof, and the choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the lodgings of his borders, and into the forest of his Carmel. 2 KINGS 21 12 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I AM bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle. 1 CHRONICLES 17 16 And David the king came and sat before the LORD, and said, Who AM I, O LORD God, and what is mine house, that thou hast brought me hitherto? 1 CHRONICLES 21 13 And David said unto Gad, I AM in a great strait: let me fall now into the hand of the LORD; for very great are his mercies: but let me not fall into the hand of man. 1 CHRONICLES 29 14 But who AM I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee. 2 CHRONICLES 2 6 But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who AM I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn sacrifice before him? 9 Even to prepare me timber in abundance: for the house which I AM about to build shall be wonderful great. 2 CHRONICLES 6 10 The LORD therefore hath performed his word that he hath spoken: for I AM risen up in the room of David my father, and AM set on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built the house for the name of the LORD God of Israel. 2 CHRONICLES 8 16 Now all the work of Solomon was prepared unto the day of the FOUNDATION of the house of the LORD, and until it was finished. So the house of the LORD was perfected. 2 CHRONICLES 18 3 And Ahab king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat king of Judah, Wilt thou go with me to Ramothgilead? And he answered him, I AM as thou art, and my people as thy people; and we will be with thee in the war. 33 And a certain man drew a bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness: therefore he said to his chariot man, Turn thine hand, that thou mayest carry me out of the host; for I AM wounded. 2 CHRONICLES 23 5 And a third part shall be at the king's house; and a third part at the gate of the FOUNDATION: and all the people shall be in the courts of the house of the LORD. 2 CHRONICLES 31 7 In the third month they began to lay the FOUNDATION of the heaps, and finished them in the seventh month. 2 CHRONICLES 35 11 And they killed the passover, and the priests sprinkled the blood from their hands, and the Levites FLAYED them. 23 And the archers shot at king Josiah; and the king said to his servants, Have me away; for I AM sore wounded. EZRA 3 6 From the first day of the seventh month began they to offer burnt offerings unto the LORD. But the FOUNDATION of the temple of the LORD was not yet laid. 10 And when the builders laid the FOUNDATION of the temple of the LORD, they set the priests in their apparel with trumpets, and the Levites the sons of Asaph with cymbals, to praise the LORD, after the ordinance of David king of Israel. 11 And they sang together by course in praising and giving thanks unto the LORD; because he is good, for his mercy endureth for ever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the LORD, because the FOUNDATION of the house of the LORD was laid. 12 But many of the priests and Levites and chief of the fathers, who were ancient men, that had seen the first house, when the FOUNDATION of this house was laid before their eyes, wept with a loud voice; and many shouted aloud for joy: EZRA 5 16 Then came the same Sheshbazzar, and laid the FOUNDATION of the house of God which is in Jerusalem: and since that time even until now hath it been in building, and yet it is not finished. EZRA 9 6 And said, O my God, I AM ashamed and blush to lift up my face to thee, my God: for our iniquities are increased over our head, and our trespass is grown up unto the heavens. NEHEMIAH 6 3 And I sent messengers unto them, saying, I AM doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you? 11 And I said, Should such a man as I flee? and who is there, that, being as I AM, would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in. ESTHER 5 12 Haman said moreover, Yea, Esther the queen did let no man come in with the king unto the banquet that she had prepared but myself; and to morrow AM I invited unto her also with the king. --MORE-- |
