ECCLESIASTES 12 13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: FEAR God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any. 11 Behold, all his fellows shall be ashamed: and the workmen, they are of men: let them all be gathered together, let them stand up; yet they shall FEAR, and they shall be ashamed together. ISAIAH 51 7 Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; FEAR ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings. ISAIAH 54 4 FEAR not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more. 14 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not FEAR: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee. ISAIAH 59 19 So shall they FEAR the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. ISAIAH 60 5 Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall FEAR, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee. ISAIAH 63 17 O LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways, and hardened our heart from thy FEAR? Return for thy servants' sake, the tribes of thine inheritance. JEREMIAH 2 19 Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my FEAR is not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts. JEREMIAH 5 22 FEAR ye not me? saith the LORD: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it? 24 Neither say they in their heart, Let us now FEAR the LORD our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest. JEREMIAH 6 25 Go not forth into the field, nor walk by the way; for the sword of the enemy and FEAR is on every side. JEREMIAH 10 7 Who would not FEAR thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto thee. JEREMIAH 20 10 For I heard the defaming of many, FEAR on every side. Report, say they, and we will report it. All my familiars watched for my halting, saying, Peradventure he will be enticed, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him. Thus might we procure great evil against our souls. JEREMIAH 30 5 For thus saith the LORD; We have heard a voice of trembling, of FEAR, and not of peace. 10 Therefore FEAR thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him afraid. JEREMIAH 32 39 And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may FEAR me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them: 40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my FEAR in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me. JEREMIAH 33 9 And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall FEAR and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it. --MORE-- |
