ISAIAH 21 4 My heart panted, fearfulness affrighted me: the night of my pleasure hath he turned into FEAR unto me. ISAIAH 24 15 Wherefore glorify ye the LORD in the FIRES, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the isles of the sea. 17 FEAR, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth. 18 And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the FEAR shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake. ISAIAH 25 3 Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible nations shall FEAR thee. ISAIAH 29 13 Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their FEAR toward me is taught by the precept of men: 23 But when he seeth his children, the work of mine hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name, and sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall FEAR the God of Israel. ISAIAH 31 9 And he shall pass over to his strong hold for FEAR, and his princes shall be afraid of the ensign, saith the LORD, whose fire is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem. ISAIAH 33 6 And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the FEAR of the LORD is his treasure. ISAIAH 35 4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, FEAR not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you. ISAIAH 41 10 FEAR thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. 13 For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, FEAR not; I will help thee. 14 FEAR not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. ISAIAH 43 1 But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, FEAR not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. 5 FEAR not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west; ISAIAH 44 2 Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; FEAR not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen. 8 FEAR ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any. 11 Behold, all his fellows shall be ashamed: and the workmen, they are of men: let them all be gathered together, let them stand up; yet they shall FEAR, and they shall be ashamed together. ISAIAH 51 7 Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; FEAR ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings. ISAIAH 54 4 FEAR not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more. 14 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not FEAR: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee. ISAIAH 59 19 So shall they FEAR the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. ISAIAH 60 5 Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall FEAR, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee. ISAIAH 63 17 O LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways, and hardened our heart from thy FEAR? Return for thy servants' sake, the tribes of thine inheritance. JEREMIAH 2 19 Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my FEAR is not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts. JEREMIAH 5 22 FEAR ye not me? saith the LORD: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it? 24 Neither say they in their heart, Let us now FEAR the LORD our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest. JEREMIAH 6 25 Go not forth into the field, nor walk by the way; for the sword of the enemy and FEAR is on every side. JEREMIAH 10 7 Who would not FEAR thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto thee. JEREMIAH 20 10 For I heard the defaming of many, FEAR on every side. Report, say they, and we will report it. All my familiars watched for my halting, saying, Peradventure he will be enticed, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him. JEREMIAH 23 4 And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall FEAR no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD. JEREMIAH 26 19 Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him at all to death? did he not FEAR the LORD, and besought the LORD, and the LORD repented him of the evil which he had pronounced against them? Thus might we procure great evil against our souls. JEREMIAH 30 5 For thus saith the LORD; We have heard a voice of trembling, of FEAR, and not of peace. 10 Therefore FEAR thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him afraid. JEREMIAH 32 39 And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may FEAR me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them: 40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my FEAR in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me. JEREMIAH 33 9 And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall FEAR and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it. JEREMIAH 35 11 But it came to pass, when Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came up into the land, that we said, Come, and let us go to Jerusalem for FEAR of the army of the Chaldeans, and for FEAR of the army of the Syrians: so we dwell at Jerusalem. JEREMIAH 37 11 And it came to pass, that when the army of the Chaldeans was broken up from Jerusalem for FEAR of Pharaoh's army, JEREMIAH 40 9 And Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan sware unto them and to their men, saying, FEAR not to serve the Chaldeans: dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you. JEREMIAH 41 9 Now the pit wherein Ishmael had cast all the dead bodies of the men, whom he had slain because of Gedaliah, was it which Asa the king had made for FEAR of Baasha king of Israel: and Ishmael the son of Nethaniah filled it with them that were slain. JEREMIAH 46 5 Wherefore have I seen them dismayed and turned away back? and their mighty ones are beaten down, and are fled apace, and look not back: for FEAR was round about, saith the LORD. 27 But FEAR not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make him afraid. 28 FEAR thou not, O Jacob my servant, saith the LORD: for I am with thee; for I will make a full end of all the nations whither I have driven thee: but I will not make a full end of thee, but correct thee in measure; yet will I not leave thee wholly unpunished. JEREMIAH 48 43 FEAR, and the pit, and the snare, shall be upon thee, O inhabitant of Moab, saith the LORD. 44 He that fleeth from the FEAR shall fall into the pit; and he that getteth up out of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for I will bring upon it, even upon Moab, the year of their visitation, saith the LORD. JEREMIAH 49 5 Behold, I will bring a FEAR upon thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts, from all those that be about thee; and ye shall be driven out every man right forth; and none shall gather up him that wandereth. 24 Damascus is waxed feeble, and turneth herself to flee, and FEAR hath seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail. 29 Their tents and their flocks shall they take away: they shall take to themselves their curtains, and all their vessels, and their camels; and they shall cry unto them, FEAR is on every side. JEREMIAH 50 16 Cut off the sower from Babylon, and him that handleth the sickle in the time of harvest: for FEAR of the oppressing sword they shall turn every one to his people, and they shall flee every one to his own land. --MORE-- |
