JEREMIAH 39 17 But I will deliver thee in that day, saith the LORD: and thou shalt not be given into the hand of the men of whom thou art AFRAID. JEREMIAH 41 18 Because of the Chaldeans: for they were AFRAID of them, because Ishmael the son of Nethaniah had slain Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, whom the king of Babylon made governor in the land. JEREMIAH 42 11 Be not AFRAID of the king of Babylon, of whom ye are AFRAID; be not AFRAID of him, saith the LORD: for I am with you to save you, and to deliver you from his hand. 16 Then it shall come to pass, that the sword, which ye feared, shall overtake you there in the land of Egypt, and the famine, whereof ye were AFRAID, shall follow close after you there in Egypt; and there ye shall die. JEREMIAH 46 27 But fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make him AFRAID. LAMENTATIONS 2 9 Her gates are sunk into the ground; he hath destroyed and broken her bars: her king and her princes are among the Gentiles: the law is no more; her prophets also find no VISION from the LORD. EZEKIEL 2 6 And thou, son of man, be not AFRAID of them, neither be AFRAID of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not AFRAID of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. EZEKIEL 7 13 For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they were yet alive: for the VISION is touching the whole multitude thereof, which shall not return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life. 26 Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumour shall be upon rumour; then shall they seek a VISION of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients. EZEKIEL 8 4 And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there, according to the VISION that I saw in the plain. EZEKIEL 11 24 Afterwards the spirit took me up, and brought me in a VISION by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the captivity. So the VISION that I had seen went up from me. EZEKIEL 12 22 Son of man, what is that proverb that ye have in the land of Israel, saying, The days are prolonged, and every VISION faileth? 23 Tell them therefore, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every VISION. 24 For there shall be no more any vain VISION nor flattering divination within the house of Israel. 27 Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, The VISION that he seeth is for many days to come, and he prophesieth of the times that are far off. EZEKIEL 13 7 Have ye not seen a vain VISION, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, whereas ye say, The LORD saith it; albeit I have not spoken? EZEKIEL 27 35 All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore AFRAID, they shall be troubled in their countenance. EZEKIEL 30 9 In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians AFRAID, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh. EZEKIEL 32 10 Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, and their kings shall be horribly AFRAID for thee, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall. EZEKIEL 34 28 And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them AFRAID. EZEKIEL 39 26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them AFRAID. EZEKIEL 43 3 And it was according to the appearance of the VISION which I saw, even according to the VISION that I saw when I came to destroy the city: and the visions were like the VISION that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face. DANIEL 2 19 Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night VISION. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven. DANIEL 4 5 I saw a dream which made me AFRAID, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me. DANIEL 7 2 Daniel spake and said, I saw in my VISION by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea. DANIEL 8 1 In the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a VISION appeared unto me, even unto me Daniel, after that which appeared unto me at the first. 2 And I saw in a VISION; and it came to pass, when I saw, that I was at Shushan in the palace, which is in the province of Elam; and I saw in a VISION, and I was by the river of Ulai. 13 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the VISION concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? 15 And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the VISION, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man. 16 And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the VISION. 17 So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was AFRAID, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the VISION. 26 And the VISION of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the VISION; for it shall be for many days. 27 And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the king's business; and I was astonished at the VISION, but none understood it. DANIEL 9 21 Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the VISION at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. 23 At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the VISION. 24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the VISION and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. DANIEL 10 1 In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the VISION. 7 And I Daniel alone saw the VISION: for the men that were with me saw not the VISION; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves. 8 Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great VISION, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength. 14 Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the VISION is for many days. 16 And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the VISION my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength. DANIEL 11 14 And in those times there shall many stand up against the king of the south: also the robbers of thy people shall exalt themselves to establish the VISION; but they shall fall. JOEL 2 22 Be not AFRAID, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength. AMOS 3 6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be AFRAID? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it? OBADIAH 1 1 The VISION of Obadiah. Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning Edom; We have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent among the heathen, Arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle. JONAH 1 5 Then the mariners were AFRAID, and cried every man unto his god, and cast forth the wares that were in the ship into the sea, to lighten it of them. But Jonah was gone down into the sides of the ship; and he lay, and was fast asleep. 10 Then were the men exceedingly AFRAID, and said unto him. Why hast thou done this? For the men knew that he fled from the presence of the LORD, because he had told them. MICAH 3 6 Therefore night shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a VISION; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them. MICAH 4 4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them AFRAID: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it. MICAH 7 17 They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be AFRAID of the LORD our God, and shall fear because of thee. --MORE-- |
