1 SAMUEL 10 18 And said unto the children of Israel, Thus SAITH the LORD God of Israel, I brought up Israel out of Egypt, and delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all kingdoms, and of them that oppressed you: 1 SAMUEL 15 2 Thus SAITH the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt. 1 SAMUEL 17 11 When Saul and all Israel heard those words of the Philistine, they were dismayed, and greatly AFRAID. 24 And all the men of Israel, when they saw the man, fled from him, and were sore AFRAID. 1 SAMUEL 18 12 And Saul was AFRAID of David, because the LORD was with him, and was departed from Saul. 15 Wherefore when Saul saw that he behaved himself very wisely, he was AFRAID of him. 29 And Saul was yet the more AFRAID of David; and Saul became David's enemy continually. 1 SAMUEL 21 1 Then came David to Nob to Ahimelech the priest: and Ahimelech was AFRAID at the meeting of David, and said unto him, Why art thou alone, and no man with thee? 12 And David laid up these words in his heart, and was sore AFRAID of Achish the king of Gath. 1 SAMUEL 23 3 And David's men said unto him, Behold, we be AFRAID here in Judah: how much more then if we come to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines? 1 SAMUEL 24 13 As SAITH the proverb of the ancients, Wickedness proceedeth from the wicked: but mine hand shall not be upon thee. 1 SAMUEL 28 5 And when Saul saw the host of the Philistines, he was AFRAID, and his heart greatly trembled. 13 And the king said unto her, Be not AFRAID: for what sawest thou? And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth. 20 Then Saul fell straightway all along on the earth, and was sore AFRAID, because of the words of Samuel: and there was no strength in him; for he had eaten no bread all the day, nor all the night. 1 SAMUEL 31 4 Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore AFRAID. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it. 2 SAMUEL 1 14 And David said unto him, How wast thou not AFRAID to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD's anointed? 2 SAMUEL 6 9 And David was AFRAID of the LORD that day, and said, How shall the ark of the LORD come to me? 2 SAMUEL 7 5 Go and tell my servant David, Thus SAITH the LORD, Shalt thou build me an house for me to dwell in? 8 Now therefore so shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus SAITH the LORD of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, from following the sheep, to be ruler over my people, over Israel: 2 SAMUEL 12 7 And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. Thus SAITH the LORD God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul; 11 Thus SAITH the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun. 2 SAMUEL 14 10 And the king said, Whoever SAITH ought unto thee, bring him to me, and he shall not touch thee any more. 15 Now therefore that I am come to speak of this thing unto my lord the king, it is because the people have made me AFRAID: and thy handmaid said, I will now speak unto the king; it may be that the king will perform the request of his handmaid. 2 SAMUEL 17 2 And I will come upon him while he is weary and weak handed, and will make him AFRAID: and all the people that are with him shall flee; and I will smite the king only: 5 Then said Absalom, Call now Hushai the Archite also, and let us hear likewise what he SAITH. 2 SAMUEL 22 5 When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me AFRAID; 46 Strangers shall fade away, and they shall be AFRAID out of their close places. 2 SAMUEL 24 12 Go and say unto David, Thus SAITH the LORD, I offer thee three things; choose thee one of them, that I may do it unto thee. 1 KINGS 1 49 And all the guests that were with Adonijah were AFRAID, and rose up, and went every man his way. 1 KINGS 2 30 And Benaiah came to the tabernacle of the LORD, and said unto him, Thus SAITH the king, Come forth. And he said, Nay; but I will die here. And Benaiah brought the king word again, saying, Thus said Joab, and thus he answered me. 1 KINGS 11 31 And he said to Jeroboam, Take thee ten pieces: for thus SAITH the LORD, the God of Israel, Behold, I will rend the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to thee: 1 KINGS 12 24 Thus SAITH the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren the children of Israel: return every man to his house; for this thing is from me. They hearkened therefore to the word of the LORD, and returned to depart, according to the word of the LORD. 1 KINGS 13 2 And he cried against the altar in the word of the LORD, and said, O altar, altar, thus SAITH the LORD; Behold, a child shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and upon thee shall he offer the priests of the high places that burn incense upon thee, and men's bones shall be burnt upon thee. 21 And he cried unto the man of God that came from Judah, saying, Thus SAITH the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast disobeyed the mouth of the LORD, and hast not kept the commandment which the LORD thy God commanded thee, 1 KINGS 14 7 Go, tell Jeroboam, Thus SAITH the LORD God of Israel, Forasmuch as I exalted thee from among the people, and made thee prince over my people Israel, 1 KINGS 17 14 For thus SAITH the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth. 1 KINGS 20 2 And he sent messengers to Ahab king of Israel into the city, and said unto him, Thus SAITH Benhadad, 13 And, behold, there came a prophet unto Ahab king of Israel, saying, Thus SAITH the LORD, Hast thou seen all this great multitude? behold, I will deliver it into thine hand this day; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD. 14 And Ahab said, By whom? And he said, Thus SAITH the LORD, Even by the young men of the princes of the provinces. Then he said, Who shall order the battle? And he answered, Thou. 28 And there came a man of God, and spake unto the king of Israel, and said, Thus SAITH the LORD, Because the Syrians have said, The LORD is God of the hills, but he is not God of the valleys, therefore will I deliver all this great multitude into thine hand, and ye shall know that I am the LORD. 32 So they girded sackcloth on their loins, and put ropes on their heads, and came to the king of Israel, and said, Thy servant Benhadad SAITH, I pray thee, let me live. And he said, Is he yet alive? he is my brother. 42 And he said unto him, Thus SAITH the LORD, Because thou hast let go out of thy hand a man whom I appointed to utter destruction, therefore thy life shall go for his life, and thy people for his people. 1 KINGS 21 19 And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus SAITH the LORD, Hast thou killed, and also taken possession? And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus SAITH the LORD, In the place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick thy blood, even thine. 1 KINGS 22 11 And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made him horns of iron: and he said, Thus SAITH the LORD, With these shalt thou push the Syrians, until thou have consumed them. 14 And Micaiah said, As the LORD liveth, what the LORD SAITH unto me, that will I speak. 27 And say, Thus SAITH the king, Put this fellow in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I come in peace. 2 KINGS 1 4 Now therefore thus SAITH the LORD, Thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die. And Elijah departed. 6 And they said unto him, There came a man up to meet us, and said unto us, Go, turn again unto the king that sent you, and say unto him, Thus SAITH the LORD, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that thou sendest to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron? therefore thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die. 15 And the angel of the LORD said unto Elijah, Go down with him: be not AFRAID of him. And he arose, and went down with him unto the king. 16 And he said unto him, Thus SAITH the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast sent messengers to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron, is it not because there is no God in Israel to enquire of his word? therefore thou shalt not come down off that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die. --MORE-- |
