And he arose, and went down with him unto the king. 16 And he said unto him, Thus SAITH the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast sent messengers to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron, is it not because there is no God in Israel to enquire of his word? therefore thou shalt not come down off that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die. 2 KINGS 2 21 And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus SAITH the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land. 2 KINGS 3 16 And he said, Thus SAITH the LORD, Make this valley full of ditches. 17 For thus SAITH the LORD, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts. 2 KINGS 4 43 And his servitor said, What, should I set this before an hundred men? And Jehu said, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me. And the watchman told, saying, The messenger came to them, but he cometh not again. 19 Then he sent out a second on horseback, which came to them, and said, Thus SAITH the king, Is it peace? And Jehu answered, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me. 26 Surely I have seen yesterday the blood of Naboth, and the blood of his sons, SAITH the LORD; and I will requite thee in this plat, SAITH the LORD. Now therefore take and cast him into the plat of ground, according to the word of the LORD. 2 KINGS 10 4 But they were exceedingly AFRAID, and said, Behold, two kings stood not before him: how then shall we stand? 2 KINGS 18 19 And Rabshakeh said unto them, Speak ye now to Hezekiah, Thus SAITH the great king, the king of Assyria, What confidence is this wherein thou trustest? 29 Thus SAITH the king, Let not Hezekiah deceive you: for he shall not be able to deliver you out of his hand: 31 Hearken not to Hezekiah: for thus SAITH the king of Assyria, Make an agreement with me by a present, and come out to me, and then eat ye every man of his own vine, and every one of his fig tree, and drink ye every one the waters of his cistern: 2 KINGS 19 3 And they said unto him, Thus SAITH Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and blasphemy; for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth. 6 And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say to your master, Thus SAITH the LORD, Be not AFRAID of the words which thou hast heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me. 20 Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, Thus SAITH the LORD God of Israel, That which thou hast prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria I have heard. 32 Therefore thus SAITH the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shield, nor cast a bank against it. 33 By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall not come into this city, SAITH the LORD. --MORE-- |
