So Joab returned from the children of Ammon, and came to Jerusalem. 15 And when the Syrians SAW that they were smitten before Israel, they gathered themselves together. 19 And when all the kings that were servants to Hadarezer SAW that they were smitten before Israel, they made peace with Israel, and served them. So the Syrians feared to help the children of Ammon any more. 2 SAMUEL 11 2 And it came to pass in an eveningtide, that David arose from off his bed, and walked upon the roof of the king's house: and from the roof he SAW a woman washing herself; and the woman was very beautiful to look upon. 2 SAMUEL 12 19 But when David SAW that his servants whispered, David perceived that the child was dead: therefore David said unto his servants, Is the child dead? And they said, He is dead. 2 SAMUEL 14 15 Now therefore that I am come to speak of this thing unto my lord the king, it is because the people have made me AFRAID: and thy handmaid said, I will now speak unto the king; it may be that the king will perform the request of his handmaid. 24 And the king said, Let him turn to his own house, and let him not see my face. And the king said, He also bringeth tidings. 29 And the king said, Is the young man Absalom safe?
