JOSHUA 23
1 And it came to pass A long time after that the LORD had given rest unto Israel from all their enemies round about, that Joshua waxed old and stricken in age.
10 One man of you shall chase A thousand: for the LORD your God, he it is that fighteth for you, as he hath promised you.
13 Know for A certainty that the LORD your God will no more drive out any of these nations from before you; but they shall be snares and traps unto you, and scourges in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this good land which the LORD your God hath given you.

18 And Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said unto him, Turn in, my lord, turn in to me; fear not. And when he had turned in unto her into the tent, she covered him with A mantle.
19 And he said unto her, Give me, I pray thee, A little water to drink; for I am thirsty. And she opened A bottle of milk, and gave him drink, and covered him.
21 Then Jael Heber's wife took A nail of the tent, and took an hammer in her hand, and went softly unto him, and smote the nail into his temples, and fastened it into the ground: for he was fast asleep and weary. So he died.

39 And Gideon said unto God, Let not thine anger be hot against me, and I will speak but this once: let me prove, I pray thee, but this once with the FLEECE; let it now be dry only upon the FLEECE, and upon all the ground let there be dew.
40 And God did so that night: for it was dry upon the FLEECE only, and there was dew on all the ground.
