DEUTERONOMY 7 5 But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with FIRE. 25 The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with FIRE: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therin: for it is an abomination to the LORD thy God. DEUTERONOMY 9 3 Understand therefore this day, that the LORD thy God is he which goeth over before thee; as a consuming FIRE he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the LORD hath said unto thee. 10 And the LORD delivered unto me two tables of stone written with the finger of God; and on them was written according to all the words, which the LORD spake with you in the mount out of the midst of the FIRE in the day of the assembly. 15 So I turned and came down from the mount, and the mount burned with FIRE: and the two tables of the covenant were in my two hands. 21 And I took your sin, the calf which ye had made, and burnt it with FIRE, and stamped it, and ground it very small, even until it was as small as dust: and I cast the dust thereof into the brook that descended out of the mount. DEUTERONOMY 12 3 And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with FIRE; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place. 31 Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the FIRE to their gods. DEUTERONOMY 13 16 And thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and shalt burn with FIRE the city, and all the spoil thereof every whit, for the LORD thy God: and it shall be an heap for ever; it shall not be built again. DEUTERONOMY 18 1 The priests the Levites, and all the tribe of Levi, shall have no part nor inheritance with Israel: they shall eat the offerings of the LORD made by FIRE, and his inheritance. 10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the FIRE, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. 16 According to all that thou desiredst of the LORD thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great FIRE any more, that I die not. DEUTERONOMY 28 22 The LORD shall smite thee with a consumption, and with a FEVER, and with an inflammation, and with an extreme burning, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they shall pursue thee until thou perish. DEUTERONOMY 32 13 He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the FIELDS; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock; 22 For a FIRE is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on FIRE the foundations of the mountains. 32 For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the FIELDS of Gomorrah: their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter: JOSHUA 6 24 And they burnt the city with FIRE, and all that was therein: only the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of brass and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the LORD. JOSHUA 7 15 And it shall be, that he that is taken with the accursed thing shall be burnt with FIRE, he and all that he hath: because he hath transgressed the covenant of the LORD, and because he hath wrought folly in Israel. 25 And Joshua said, Why hast thou troubled us? the LORD shall trouble thee this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones, and burned them with FIRE, after they had stoned them with stones. JOSHUA 8 8 And it shall be, when ye have taken the city, that ye shall set the city on FIRE: according to the commandment of the LORD shall ye do. See, I have commanded you. 19 And the ambush arose quickly out of their place, and they ran as soon as he had stretched out his hand: and they entered into the city, and took it, and hasted and set the city on FIRE. JOSHUA 11 6 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not afraid because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with FIRE. 9 And Joshua did unto them as the LORD bade him: he houghed their horses, and burnt their chariots with FIRE. 11 And they smote all the souls that were therein with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying them: there was not any left to breathe: and he burnt Hazor with FIRE. JUDGES 9 15 And the bramble said unto the trees, If in truth ye anoint me king over you, then come and put your trust in my shadow: and if not, let FIRE come out of the bramble, and devour the cedars of Lebanon. 20 But if not, let FIRE come out from Abimelech, and devour the men of Shechem, and the house of Millo; and let FIRE come out from the men of Shechem, and from the house of Millo, and devour Abimelech. 27 And they went out into the FIELDS, and gathered their vineyards, and trode the grapes, and made merry, and went into the house of their god, and did eat and drink, and cursed Abimelech. 44 And Abimelech, and the company that was with him, rushed forward, and stood in the entering of the gate of the city: and the two other companies ran upon all the people that were in the FIELDS, and slew them. 49 And all the people likewise cut down every man his bough, and followed Abimelech, and put them to the hold, and set the hold on FIRE upon them; so that all the men of the tower of Shechem died also, about a thousand men and women. 52 And Abimelech came unto the tower, and fought against it, and went hard unto the door of the tower to burn it with FIRE.
