DEUTERONOMY 20 1 When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. DEUTERONOMY 21 1 If one be found SLAIN in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee to possess it, lying in the field, and it be not known who hath SLAIN him: 2 Then thy elders and thy judges shall come forth, and they shall measure unto the cities which are round about him that is SLAIN: 3 And it shall be, that the city which is next unto the SLAIN man, even the elders of that city shall take an heifer, which hath not been wrought with, and which hath not drawn in the yoke; 6 And all the elders of that city, that are next unto the SLAIN man, shall wash their hands over the heifer that is beheaded in the valley: DEUTERONOMY 28 10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be AFRAID of thee. 31 Thine ox shall be SLAIN before thine eyes, and thou shalt not eat thereof: thine ass shall be violently taken away from before thy face, and shall not be restored to thee: thy sheep shall be given unto thine enemies, and thou shalt have none to rescue them. 60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast AFRAID of; and they shall cleave unto thee. DEUTERONOMY 31 6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. DEUTERONOMY 32 42 I will make mine arrows drunk with blood, and my sword shall devour flesh; and that with the blood of the SLAIN and of the captives, from the beginning of revenges upon the enemy. JOSHUA 1 9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not AFRAID, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. JOSHUA 9 24 And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore AFRAID of our lives because of you, and have done this thing. JOSHUA 11 6 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not AFRAID because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all SLAIN before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire. JOSHUA 13 22 Balaam also the son of Beor, the soothsayer, did the children of Israel slay with the sword among them that were SLAIN by them. JUDGES 7 3 Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and AFRAID, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand. JUDGES 9 18 And ye are risen up against my father's house this day, and have SLAIN his sons, threescore and ten persons, upon one stone, and have made Abimelech, the son of his maidservant, king over the men of Shechem, because he is your brother;) JUDGES 15 16 And Samson said, With the jawbone of an ass, heaps upon heaps, with the jaw of an ass have I SLAIN a thousand men. JUDGES 20 4 And the Levite, the husband of the woman that was SLAIN, answered and said, I came into Gibeah that belongeth to Benjamin, I and my concubine, to lodge. 5 And the men of Gibeah rose against me, and beset the house round about upon me by night, and thought to have SLAIN me: and my concubine have they forced, that she is dead. And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth. 20 Then Saul fell straightway all along on the earth, and was sore AFRAID, because of the words of Samuel: and there was no strength in him; for he had eaten no bread all the day, nor all the night. 1 SAMUEL 31 1 Now the Philistines fought against Israel: and the men of Israel fled from before the Philistines, and fell down SLAIN in mount Gilboa. 4 Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me.
