GENESIS 34 27 The sons of Jacob came upon the SLAIN, and spoiled the city, because they had defiled their sister. DEUTERONOMY 9 19 For I was AFRAID of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith the LORD was wroth against you to destroy you. But the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also. DEUTERONOMY 18 22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be AFRAID of him. DEUTERONOMY 20 1 When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. DEUTERONOMY 21 1 If one be found SLAIN in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee to possess it, lying in the field, and it be not known who hath SLAIN him: 2 Then thy elders and thy judges shall come forth, and they shall measure unto the cities which are round about him that is SLAIN: 3 And it shall be, that the city which is next unto the SLAIN man, even the elders of that city shall take an heifer, which hath not been wrought with, and which hath not drawn in the yoke; 6 And all the elders of that city, that are next unto the SLAIN man, shall wash their hands over the heifer that is beheaded in the valley: DEUTERONOMY 28 10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be AFRAID of thee. 31 Thine ox shall be SLAIN before thine eyes, and thou shalt not eat thereof: thine ass shall be violently taken away from before thy face, and shall not be restored to thee: thy sheep shall be given unto thine enemies, and thou shalt have none to rescue them. 60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast AFRAID of; and they shall cleave unto thee. DEUTERONOMY 31 6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. DEUTERONOMY 32 42 I will make mine arrows drunk with blood, and my sword shall devour flesh; and that with the blood of the SLAIN and of the captives, from the beginning of revenges upon the enemy. JOSHUA 1 9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not AFRAID, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. JOSHUA 9 24 And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore AFRAID of our lives because of you, and have done this thing. --MORE-- |
