DEUTERONOMY 13 2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us SERVE them; 4 Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall SERVE him, and cleave unto him. 6 If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and SERVE other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers; 13 Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and SERVE other gods, which ye have not known; DEUTERONOMY 15 12 And if thy brother, an Hebrew man, or an Hebrew woman, be sold unto thee, and SERVE thee six years; then in the seventh year thou shalt let him go free from thee. DEUTERONOMY 18 22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be AFRAID of him. DEUTERONOMY 20 1 When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. 11 And it shall be, if it make thee answer of peace, and open unto thee, then it shall be, that all the people that is found therein shall be tributaries unto thee, and they shall SERVE thee. DEUTERONOMY 28 10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be AFRAID of thee. 14 And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to SERVE them. 36 The LORD shall bring thee, and thy king which thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation which neither thou nor thy fathers have known; and there shalt thou SERVE other gods, wood and stone. 48 Therefore shalt thou SERVE thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee. 60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast AFRAID of; and they shall cleave unto thee. 64 And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt SERVE other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone. DEUTERONOMY 29 18 Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD our God, to go and SERVE the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood; DEUTERONOMY 30 17 But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and SERVE them; DEUTERONOMY 31 6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. 20 For when I shall have brought them into the land which I sware unto their fathers, that floweth with milk and honey; and they shall have eaten and filled themselves, and waxen fat; then will they turn unto other gods, and SERVE them, and provoke me, and break my covenant. JOSHUA 1 9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not AFRAID, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. JOSHUA 9 24 And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore AFRAID of our lives because of you, and have done this thing. JOSHUA 11 6 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not AFRAID because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire. JOSHUA 16 10 And they drave not out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer: but the Canaanites dwell among the Ephraimites unto this day, and SERVE under tribute. JOSHUA 22 5 But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the LORD charged you, to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to SERVE him with all your heart and with all your soul. JOSHUA 23 7 That ye come not among these nations, these that remain among you; neither make mention of the name of their gods, nor cause to swear by them, neither SERVE them, nor bow yourselves unto them: JOSHUA 24 14 Now therefore fear the LORD, and SERVE him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and SERVE ye the LORD. 15 And if it seem evil unto you to SERVE the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will SERVE; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will SERVE the LORD. 16 And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to SERVE other gods; 18 And the LORD drave out from before us all the people, even the Amorites which dwelt in the land: therefore will we also SERVE the LORD; for he is our God. 19 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot SERVE the LORD: for he is an holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins. 20 If ye forsake the LORD, and SERVE strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you good. 21 And the people said unto Joshua, Nay; but we will SERVE the LORD. 22 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye are witnesses against yourselves that ye have chosen you the LORD, to SERVE him. And they said, We are witnesses. 24 And the people said unto Joshua, The LORD our God will we SERVE, and his voice will we obey.
