And it was TOLD Saul that David was escaped from Keilah; and he forbare to go forth. 22 Go, I pray you, prepare yet, and know and see his place where his haunt is, and who hath seen him there: for it is TOLD me that he dealeth very subtilly. 25 Saul also and his men went to seek him. And they TOLD David; wherefore he came down into a rock, and abode in the wilderness of Maon. And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth. 20 Then Saul fell straightway all along on the earth, and was sore AFRAID, because of the words of Samuel: and there was no strength in him; for he had eaten no bread all the day, nor all the night. 1 SAMUEL 31 4 Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore AFRAID. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it. 2 SAMUEL 1 5 And David said unto the young man that TOLD him, How knowest thou that Saul and Jonathan his son be dead? 6 And the young man that TOLD him said, As I happened by chance upon mount Gilboa, behold, Saul leaned upon his spear; and, lo, the chariots and horsemen followed hard after him. 13 And David said unto the young man that TOLD him, Whence art thou? And he answered, I am the son of a stranger, an Amalekite. 14 And David said unto him, How wast thou not AFRAID to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD's anointed? 2 SAMUEL 2 4 And the men of Judah came, and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah.
