1 SAMUEL 18 12 And Saul was AFRAID of David, because the LORD was with him, and was departed from Saul. 15 Wherefore when Saul saw that he behaved himself very wisely, he was AFRAID of him. 23 And Saul's servants spake those words in the ears of David. And David said, Seemeth it to YOU a light thing to be a king's son in law, seeing that I am a poor man, and lightly esteemed? 29 And Saul was yet the more AFRAID of David; and Saul became David's enemy continually. 1 SAMUEL 21 1 Then came David to Nob to Ahimelech the priest: and Ahimelech was AFRAID at the meeting of David, and said unto him, Why art thou alone, and no man with thee? 12 And David laid up these words in his heart, and was sore AFRAID of Achish the king of Gath. 1 SAMUEL 22 3 And David went thence to Mizpeh of Moab: and he said unto the king of Moab, Let my father and my mother, I pray thee, come forth, and be with YOU, till I know what God will do for me. 7 Then Saul said unto his servants that stood about him, Hear now, ye Benjamites; will the son of Jesse give every one of YOU fields and vineyards, and make YOU all captains of thousands, and captains of hundreds; 8 That all of YOU have conspired against me, and there is none that sheweth me that my son hath made a league with the son of Jesse, and there is none of YOU that is sorry for me, or sheweth unto me that my son hath stirred up my servant against me, to lie in wait, as at this day? 1 SAMUEL 23 3 And David's men said unto him, Behold, we be AFRAID here in Judah: how much more then if we come to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines? 22 Go, I pray YOU, prepare yet, and know and see his place where his haunt is, and who hath seen him there: for it is told me that he dealeth very subtilly. 23 See therefore, and take knowledge of all the lurking places where he hideth himself, and come ye again to me with the certainty, and I will go with YOU: and it shall come to pass, if he be in the land, that I will search him out throughout all the thousands of Judah. 1 SAMUEL 25 5 And David sent out ten young men, and David said unto the young men, Get YOU up to Carmel, and go to Nabal, and greet him in my name: 19 And she said unto her servants, Go on before me; behold, I come after YOU. But she told not her husband Nabal. 1 SAMUEL 28 5 And when Saul saw the host of the Philistines, he was AFRAID, and his heart greatly trembled. 13 And the king said unto her, Be not AFRAID: for what sawest thou? And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth. 20 Then Saul fell straightway all along on the earth, and was sore AFRAID, because of the words of Samuel: and there was no strength in him; for he had eaten no bread all the day, nor all the night. 1 SAMUEL 30 24 For who will hearken unto YOU in this matter? but as his part is that goeth down to the battle, so shall his part be that tarrieth by the stuff: they shall part alike. 26 And when David came to Ziklag, he sent of the spoil unto the elders of Judah, even to his friends, saying, Behold a present for YOU of the spoil of the enemies of the LORD; 1 SAMUEL 31 4 Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore AFRAID. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it. 2 SAMUEL 1 14 And David said unto him, How wast thou not AFRAID to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD's anointed? 21 Ye mountains of Gilboa, let there be no dew, neither let there be rain, upon YOU, nor fields of offerings: for there the shield of the mighty is vilely cast away, the shield of Saul, as though he had not been anointed with oil. 24 Ye daughters of Israel, weep over Saul, who clothed YOU in scarlet, with other delights, who put on ornaments of gold upon your apparel. 2 SAMUEL 2 6 And now the LORD shew kindness and truth unto YOU: and I also will requite YOU this kindness, because ye have done this thing. 2 SAMUEL 3 17 And Abner had communication with the elders of Israel, saying, Ye sought for David in times past to be king over YOU: 31 And David said to Joab, and to all the people that were with him, Rend your clothes, and gird YOU with sackcloth, and mourn before Abner. And king David himself followed the bier. 2 SAMUEL 4 11 How much more, when wicked men have slain a righteous person in his own house upon his bed? shall I not therefore now require his blood of your hand, and take YOU away from the earth? 2 SAMUEL 6 9 And David was AFRAID of the LORD that day, and said, How shall the ark of the LORD come to me? 2 SAMUEL 7 23 And what one nation in the earth is like thy people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name, and to do for YOU great things and terrible, for thy land, before thy people, which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt, from the nations and their gods? 2 SAMUEL 13 28 Now Absalom had commanded his servants, saying, Mark ye now when Amnon's heart is merry with wine, and when I say unto YOU, Smite Amnon; then kill him, fear not: have not I commanded YOU? be courageous, and be valiant. 2 SAMUEL 14 15 Now therefore that I am come to speak of this thing unto my lord the king, it is because the people have made me AFRAID: and thy handmaid said, I will now speak unto the king; it may be that the king will perform the request of his handmaid. 2 SAMUEL 15 27 The king said also unto Zadok the priest, Art not thou a seer? return into the city in peace, and your two sons with YOU, Ahimaaz thy son, and Jonathan the son of Abiathar. 28 See, I will tarry in the plain of the wilderness, until there come word from YOU to certify me. 2 SAMUEL 16 10 And the king said, What have I to do with YOU, ye sons of Zeruiah? so let him curse, because the LORD hath said unto him, Curse David. Who shall then say, Wherefore hast thou done so? 20 Then said Absalom to Ahithophel, Give counsel among YOU what we shall do. 2 SAMUEL 17 2 And I will come upon him while he is weary and weak handed, and will make him AFRAID: and all the people that are with him shall flee; and I will smite the king only: 21 And it came to pass, after they were departed, that they came up out of the well, and went and told king David, and said unto David, Arise, and pass quickly over the water: for thus hath Ahithophel counselled against YOU. 2 SAMUEL 18 2 And David sent forth a third part of the people under the hand of Joab, and a third part under the hand of Abishai the son of Zeruiah, Joab's brother, and a third part under the hand of Ittai the Gittite. And the king said unto the people, I will surely go forth with YOU myself also. 4 And the king said unto them, What seemeth YOU best I will do. And the king stood by the gate side, and all the people came out by hundreds and by thousands. 2 SAMUEL 21 3 Wherefore David said unto the Gibeonites, What shall I do for YOU? and wherewith shall I make the atonement, that ye may bless the inheritance of the LORD? 4 And the Gibeonites said unto him, We will have no silver nor gold of Saul, nor of his house; neither for us shalt thou kill any man in Israel. And he said, What ye shall say, that will I do for YOU. 2 SAMUEL 22 5 When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me AFRAID; 46 Strangers shall fade away, and they shall be AFRAID out of their close places. 1 KINGS 1 33 The king also said unto them, Take with YOU the servants of your lord, and cause Solomon my son to ride upon mine own mule, and bring him down to Gihon: 49 And all the guests that were with Adonijah were AFRAID, and rose up, and went every man his way. 1 KINGS 7 15 For he cast two pillars of brass, of eighteen cubits high APIECE: and a line of twelve cubits did compass either of them about. 1 KINGS 11 2 Of the nations concerning which the LORD said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto YOU: for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love. 1 KINGS 12 11 And now whereas my father did lade YOU with a heavy yoke, I will add to your yoke: my father hath chastised YOU with whips, but I will chastise YOU with scorpions. 14 And spake to them after the counsel of the young men, saying, My father made your yoke heavy, and I will add to your yoke: my father also chastised YOU with whips, but I will chastise YOU with scorpions. 28 Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves of gold, and said unto them, It is too much for YOU to go up to Jerusalem: behold thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. --MORE-- |
