MATTHEW 28 10 Then said Jesus unto them, Be not AFRAID: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me. And they cried out the more exceedingly, Crucify him. 15 And so PILATE, willing to content the people, released Barabbas unto them, and delivered Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified. 43 Joseph of Arimathaea, an honourable counsellor, which also waited for the kingdom of God, came, and went in boldly unto PILATE, and craved the body of Jesus. 44 And PILATE marvelled if he were already dead: and calling unto him the centurion, he asked him whether he had been any while dead. MARK 16 8 And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were AFRAID. And he answered him and said, Thou sayest it. 4 Then said PILATE to the chief priests and to the people, I find no fault in this man. 6 When PILATE heard of Galilee, he asked whether the man were a Galilaean. 11 And Herod with his men of war set him at nought, and mocked him, and arrayed him in a gorgeous robe, and sent him again to PILATE. 12 And the same day PILATE and Herod were made friends together: for before they were at enmity between themselves. 13 And PILATE, when he had called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people, 20 PILATE therefore, willing to release Jesus, spake again to them. 24 And PILATE gave sentence that it should be as they required. 52 This man went unto PILATE, and begged the body of Jesus. LUKE 24 5 And as they were AFRAID, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? JOHN 6 19 So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were AFRAID. 20 But he saith unto them, It is I; be not AFRAID. JOHN 14 27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be AFRAID. JOHN 18 29 PILATE then went out unto them, and said, What accusation bring ye against this man? 31 Then said PILATE unto them, Take ye him, and judge him according to your law. The Jews therefore said unto him, It is not lawful for us to put any man to death: 33 Then PILATE entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews? 35 PILATE answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done? 37 PILATE therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. 38 PILATE saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all. JOHN 19 1 Then PILATE therefore took Jesus, and scourged him. 4 PILATE therefore went forth again, and saith unto them, Behold, I bring him forth to you, that ye may know that I find no fault in him. 5 Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And PILATE saith unto them, Behold the man! 6 When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. PILATE saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him. 8 When PILATE therefore heard that saying, he was the more AFRAID; 10 Then saith PILATE unto him, Speakest thou not unto me? knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee? 12 And from thenceforth PILATE sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou let this man go, thou art not Caesar's friend: whosoever maketh himself a king speaketh against Caesar. 13 When PILATE therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the Hebrew, Gabbatha. 15 But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. PILATE saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar. 19 And PILATE wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS. 21 Then said the chief priests of the Jews to PILATE, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews. 22 PILATE answered, What I have written I have written. 31 The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought PILATE that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. 38 And after this Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, besought PILATE that he might take away the body of Jesus: and PILATE gave him leave.
