JOSHUA 5 4 And this is the cause why Joshua DID circumcise: All the people that came out of Egypt, that were males, even all the men of war, died in the wilderness by the way, after they came out of Egypt. 11 And they DID eat of the old corn of the land on the morrow after the passover, unleavened cakes, and parched corn in the selfsame day. 12 And the manna ceased on the morrow after they had eaten of the old corn of the land; neither had the children of Israel manna any more; but they DID eat of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year. 14 And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and DID worship, and said unto him, What saith my Lord unto his servant? 15 And the captain of the LORD's host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua DID so. JOSHUA 6 14 And the second day they compassed the city once, and returned into the camp: so they DID six days. JOSHUA 9 4 They DID work wilily, and went and made as if they had been ambassadors, and took old sacks upon their asses, and wine bottles, old, and rent, and bound up; 9 And they said unto him, From a very far country thy servants are come because of the name of the LORD thy God: for we have heard the fame of him, and all that he DID in Egypt, 10 And all that he DID to the two kings of the Amorites, that were beyond Jordan, to Sihon king of Heshbon, and to Og king of Bashan, which was at Ashtaroth. 24 And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore AFRAID of our lives because of you, and have done this thing. 26 And so DID he unto them, and delivered them out of the hand of the children of Israel, that they slew them not. JOSHUA 10 23 And they DID so, and brought forth those five kings unto him out of the cave, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon. 28 And that day Joshua took Makkedah, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the king thereof he utterly destroyed, them, and all the souls that were therein; he let none remain: and he DID to the king of Makkedah as he DID unto the king of Jericho. 30 And the LORD delivered it also, and the king thereof, into the hand of Israel; and he smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls that were therein; he let none remain in it; but DID unto the king thereof as he DID unto the king of Jericho. 39 And he took it, and the king thereof, and all the cities thereof; and they smote them with the edge of the sword, and utterly destroyed all the souls that were therein; he left none remaining: as he had done to Hebron, so he DID to Debir, and to the king thereof; as he had done also to Libnah, and to her king. 42 And all these kings and their land DID Joshua take at one time, because the LORD God of Israel fought for Israel. JOSHUA 11 6 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not AFRAID because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire. 9 And Joshua DID unto them as the LORD bade him: he houghed their horses, and burnt their chariots with fire. 12 And all the cities of those kings, and all the kings of them, DID Joshua take, and smote them with the edge of the sword, and he utterly destroyed them, as Moses the servant of the LORD commanded. 13 But as for the cities that stood still in their strength, Israel burned none of them, save Hazor only; that DID Joshua burn. 15 As the LORD commanded Moses his servant, so DID Moses command Joshua, and so DID Joshua; he left nothing undone of all that the LORD commanded Moses. JOSHUA 12 6 Them DID Moses the servant of the LORD and the children of Israel smite: and Moses the servant of the LORD gave it for a possession unto the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh. JOSHUA 13 12 All the kingdom of Og in Bashan, which reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei, who remained of the remnant of the giants: for these DID Moses smite, and cast them out. 22 Balaam also the son of Beor, the soothsayer, DID the children of Israel slay with the sword among them that were slain by them. 32 These are the countries which Moses DID distribute for inheritance in the plains of Moab, on the other side Jordan, by Jericho, eastward. JOSHUA 14 5 As the LORD commanded Moses, so the children of Israel DID, and they divided the land. JOSHUA 17 13 Yet it came to pass, when the children of Israel were waxen strong, that they put the Canaanites to tribute, but DID not utterly drive them out. JOSHUA 22 20 DID not Achan the son of Zerah commit a trespass in the accursed thing, and wrath fell on all the congregation of Israel? and that man perished not alone in his iniquity. 33 And the thing pleased the children of Israel; and the children of Israel blessed God, and DID not intend to go up against them in battle, to destroy the land wherein the children of Reuben and Gad dwelt. JOSHUA 24 5 I sent Moses also and Aaron, and I plagued Egypt, according to that which I DID among them: and afterward I brought you out. 13 And I have given you a land for which ye DID not labour, and cities which ye built not, and ye dwell in them; of the vineyards and oliveyards which ye planted not do ye eat. 17 For the LORD our God, he it is that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which DID those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed: JUDGES 1 21 And the children of Benjamin DID not drive out the Jebusites that inhabited Jerusalem; but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Benjamin in Jerusalem unto this day. 27 Neither DID Manasseh drive out the inhabitants of Bethshean and her towns, nor Taanach and her towns, nor the inhabitants of Dor and her towns, nor the inhabitants of Ibleam and her towns, nor the inhabitants of Megiddo and her towns: but the Canaanites would dwell in that land. 28 And it came to pass, when Israel was strong, that they put the Canaanites to tribute, and DID not utterly drive them out. 29 Neither DID Ephraim drive out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer; but the Canaanites dwelt in Gezer among them. 30 Neither DID Zebulun drive out the inhabitants of Kitron, nor the inhabitants of Nahalol; but the Canaanites dwelt among them, and became tributaries. 31 Neither DID Asher drive out the inhabitants of Accho, nor the inhabitants of Zidon, nor of Ahlab, nor of Achzib, nor of Helbah, nor of Aphik, nor of Rehob: 32 But the Asherites dwelt among the Canaanites, the inhabitants of the land: for they DID not drive them out. 33 Neither DID Naphtali drive out the inhabitants of Bethshemesh, nor the inhabitants of Bethanath; but he dwelt among the Canaanites, the inhabitants of the land: nevertheless the inhabitants of Bethshemesh and of Bethanath became tributaries unto them. JUDGES 2 7 And the people served the LORD all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders that outlived Joshua, who had seen all the great works of the LORD, that he DID for Israel. 11 And the children of Israel DID evil in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim: 17 And yet they would not hearken unto their judges, but they went a whoring after other gods, and bowed themselves unto them: they turned quickly out of the way which their fathers walked in, obeying the commandments of the LORD; but they DID not so. 22 That through them I may prove Israel, whether they will keep the way of the LORD to walk therein, as their fathers DID keep it, or not. JUDGES 3 7 And the children of Israel DID evil in the sight of the LORD, and forgat the LORD their God, and served Baalim and the groves. 12 And the children of Israel DID evil again in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD strengthened Eglon the king of Moab against Israel, because they had done evil in the sight of the LORD. 16 But Ehud made him a dagger which had two edges, of a cubit length; and he DID gird it under his raiment upon his right thigh. JUDGES 4 1 And the children of Israel again DID evil in the sight of the LORD, when Ehud was dead. JUDGES 5 17 Gilead abode beyond Jordan: and why DID Dan remain in ships? Asher continued on the sea shore, and abode in his breaches. JUDGES 6 1 And the children of Israel DID evil in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years. 13 And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, DID not the LORD bring us up from Egypt? but now the LORD hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites. 20 And the angel of God said unto him, Take the flesh and the unleavened cakes, and lay them upon this rock, and pour out the broth. And he DID so. 27 Then Gideon took ten men of his servants, and DID as the LORD had said unto him: and so it was, because he feared his father's household, and the men of the city, that he could not do it by day, that he DID it by night. 40 And God DID so that night: for it was dry upon the fleece only, and there was dew on all the ground. --MORE-- |
