DEUTERONOMY 24 9 Remember what the LORD thy God DID unto Miriam by the way, after that ye were come forth out of Egypt. JOSHUA 1 9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not AFRAID, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. JOSHUA 2 10 For we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye DID unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were on the other side Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly destroyed. 11 And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts DID melt, neither DID there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath. JOSHUA 4 8 And the children of Israel DID so as Joshua commanded, and took up twelve stones out of the midst of Jordan, as the LORD spake unto Joshua, according to the number of the tribes of the children of Israel, and carried them over with them unto the place where they lodged, and laid them down there. 18 And it came to pass, when the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD were come up out of the midst of Jordan, and the soles of the priests' feet were lifted up unto the dry land, that the waters of Jordan returned unto their place, and flowed over all his banks, as they DID before. 20 And those twelve stones, which they took out of Jordan, DID Joshua pitch in Gilgal. 23 For the LORD your God dried up the waters of Jordan from before you, until ye were passed over, as the LORD your God DID to the Red sea, which he dried up from before us, until we were gone over: JOSHUA 5 4 And this is the cause why Joshua DID circumcise: All the people that came out of Egypt, that were males, even all the men of war, died in the wilderness by the way, after they came out of Egypt. 11 And they DID eat of the old corn of the land on the morrow after the passover, unleavened cakes, and parched corn in the selfsame day. 12 And the manna ceased on the morrow after they had eaten of the old corn of the land; neither had the children of Israel manna any more; but they DID eat of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year. 14 And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and DID worship, and said unto him, What saith my Lord unto his servant? 15 And the captain of the LORD's host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua DID so. JOSHUA 6 14 And the second day they compassed the city once, and returned into the camp: so they DID six days. JOSHUA 9 4 They DID work wilily, and went and made as if they had been ambassadors, and took old sacks upon their asses, and wine bottles, old, and rent, and bound up; 9 And they said unto him, From a very far country thy servants are come because of the name of the LORD thy God: for we have heard the fame of him, and all that he DID in Egypt, 10 And all that he DID to the two kings of the Amorites, that were beyond Jordan, to Sihon king of Heshbon, and to Og king of Bashan, which was at Ashtaroth. 24 And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore AFRAID of our lives because of you, and have done this thing. 26 And so DID he unto them, and delivered them out of the hand of the children of Israel, that they slew them not. JOSHUA 10 23 And they DID so, and brought forth those five kings unto him out of the cave, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon. 28 And that day Joshua took Makkedah, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the king thereof he utterly destroyed, them, and all the souls that were therein; he let none remain: and he DID to the king of Makkedah as he DID unto the king of Jericho. 30 And the LORD delivered it also, and the king thereof, into the hand of Israel; and he smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls that were therein; he let none remain in it; but DID unto the king thereof as he DID unto the king of Jericho. 39 And he took it, and the king thereof, and all the cities thereof; and they smote them with the edge of the sword, and utterly destroyed all the souls that were therein; he left none remaining: as he had done to Hebron, so he DID to Debir, and to the king thereof; as he had done also to Libnah, and to her king. 42 And all these kings and their land DID Joshua take at one time, because the LORD God of Israel fought for Israel. JOSHUA 11 6 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not AFRAID because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire. 9 And Joshua DID unto them as the LORD bade him: he houghed their horses, and burnt their chariots with fire. 12 And all the cities of those kings, and all the kings of them, DID Joshua take, and smote them with the edge of the sword, and he utterly destroyed them, as Moses the servant of the LORD commanded. 13 But as for the cities that stood still in their strength, Israel burned none of them, save Hazor only; that DID Joshua burn. 15 As the LORD commanded Moses his servant, so DID Moses command Joshua, and so DID Joshua; he left nothing undone of all that the LORD commanded Moses. JOSHUA 12 6 Them DID Moses the servant of the LORD and the children of Israel smite: and Moses the servant of the LORD gave it for a possession unto the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh. JOSHUA 13 12 All the kingdom of Og in Bashan, which reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei, who remained of the remnant of the giants: for these DID Moses smite, and cast them out. 22 Balaam also the son of Beor, the soothsayer, DID the children of Israel slay with the sword among them that were slain by them. 32 These are the countries which Moses DID distribute for inheritance in the plains of Moab, on the other side Jordan, by Jericho, eastward. JOSHUA 14 5 As the LORD commanded Moses, so the children of Israel DID, and they divided the land. JOSHUA 17 13 Yet it came to pass, when the children of Israel were waxen strong, that they put the Canaanites to tribute, but DID not utterly drive them out. JOSHUA 22 20 DID not Achan the son of Zerah commit a trespass in the accursed thing, and wrath fell on all the congregation of Israel? and that man perished not alone in his iniquity. 33 And the thing pleased the children of Israel; and the children of Israel blessed God, and DID not intend to go up against them in battle, to destroy the land wherein the children of Reuben and Gad dwelt. JOSHUA 24 5 I sent Moses also and Aaron, and I plagued Egypt, according to that which I DID among them: and afterward I brought you out. 13 And I have given you a land for which ye DID not labour, and cities which ye built not, and ye dwell in them; of the vineyards and oliveyards which ye planted not do ye eat. 17 For the LORD our God, he it is that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which DID those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed: --MORE-- |
