DEUTERONOMY 10 21 He is thy praise, and he is thy God, that hath done for thee these great and terrible things, which thine EYES have seen. DEUTERONOMY 11 7 But your EYES have seen all the great acts of the LORD which he did. 12 A land which the LORD thy God careth for: the EYES of the LORD thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year. 18 Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your EYES. DEUTERONOMY 12 8 Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own EYES. DEUTERONOMY 13 18 When thou shalt hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep all his commandments which I command thee this day, to do that which is right in the EYES of the LORD thy God. DEUTERONOMY 14 1 Ye are the children of the LORD your God: ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your EYES for the dead. DEUTERONOMY 16 19 Thou shalt not wrest judgment; thou shalt not respect persons, neither take a gift: for a gift doth blind the EYES of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous. DEUTERONOMY 18 4 The firstfruit also of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the first of the FLEECE of thy sheep, shalt thou give him. DEUTERONOMY 21 7 And they shall answer and say, Our hands have not shed this blood, neither have our EYES seen it. DEUTERONOMY 24 1 When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his EYES, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house. DEUTERONOMY 28 31 Thine ox shall be slain before thine EYES, and thou shalt not eat thereof: thine ass shall be violently taken away from before thy face, and shall not be restored to thee: thy sheep shall be given unto thine enemies, and thou shalt have none to rescue them. 32 Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people, and thine EYES shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day long; and there shall be no might in thine hand. 34 So that thou shalt be mad for the sight of thine EYES which thou shalt see. 65 And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the LORD shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of EYES, and sorrow of mind: 67 In the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even! and at even thou shalt say, Would God it were morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine EYES which thou shalt see. DEUTERONOMY 29 2 And Moses called unto all Israel, and said unto them, Ye have seen all that the LORD did before your EYES in the land of Egypt unto Pharaoh, and unto all his servants, and unto all his land; 3 The great temptations which thine EYES have seen, the signs, and those great miracles: 4 Yet the LORD hath not given you an heart to perceive, and EYES to see, and ears to hear, unto this day. DEUTERONOMY 34 4 And the LORD said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine EYES, but thou shalt not go over thither. JOSHUA 5 13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his EYES and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? JOSHUA 23 13 Know for a certainty that the LORD your God will no more drive out any of these nations from before you; but they shall be snares and traps unto you, and scourges in your sides, and thorns in your EYES, until ye perish from off this good land which the LORD your God hath given you. JOSHUA 24 7 And when they cried unto the LORD, he put darkness between you and the Egyptians, and brought the sea upon them, and covered them; and your EYES have seen what I have done in Egypt: and ye dwelt in the wilderness a long season. JUDGES 6 37 Behold, I will put a FLEECE of wool in the floor; and if the dew be on the FLEECE only, and it be dry upon all the earth beside, then shall I know that thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, as thou hast said. 38 And it was so: for he rose up early on the morrow, and thrust the FLEECE together, and wringed the dew out of the FLEECE, a bowl full of water. 39 And Gideon said unto God, Let not thine anger be hot against me, and I will speak but this once: let me prove, I pray thee, but this once with the FLEECE; let it now be dry only upon the FLEECE, and upon all the ground let there be dew. 40 And God did so that night: for it was dry upon the FLEECE only, and there was dew on all the ground. JUDGES 16 21 But the Philistines took him, and put out his EYES, and brought him down to Gaza, and bound him with fetters of brass; and he did grind in the prison house. 28 And Samson called unto the LORD, and said, O Lord God, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two EYES. JUDGES 17 6 In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own EYES. JUDGES 19 17 And when he had lifted up his EYES, he saw a wayfaring man in the street of the city: and the old man said, Whither goest thou? and whence comest thou? JUDGES 21 25 In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own EYES. RUTH 2 9 Let thine EYES be on the field that they do reap, and go thou after them: have I not charged the young men that they shall not touch thee? and when thou art athirst, go unto the vessels, and drink of that which the young men have drawn. 10 Then she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said unto him, Why have I found grace in thine EYES, that thou shouldest take knowledge of me, seeing I am a stranger? 1 SAMUEL 2 33 And the man of thine, whom I shall not cut off from mine altar, shall be to consume thine EYES, and to grieve thine heart: and all the increase of thine house shall die in the flower of their age. 1 SAMUEL 3 2 And it came to pass at that time, when Eli was laid down in his place, and his EYES began to wax dim, that he could not see; 1 SAMUEL 4 15 Now Eli was ninety and eight years old; and his EYES were dim, that he could not see. 1 SAMUEL 6 13 And they of Bethshemesh were reaping their wheat harvest in the valley: and they lifted up their EYES, and saw the ark, and rejoiced to see it. 1 SAMUEL 11 2 And Nahash the Ammonite answered them, On this condition will I make a covenant with you, that I may thrust out all your right EYES, and lay it for a reproach upon all Israel. 1 SAMUEL 12 3 Behold, here I am: witness against me before the LORD, and before his anointed: whose ox have I taken? or whose ass have I taken? or whom have I defrauded? whom have I oppressed? or of whose hand have I received any bribe to blind mine EYES therewith? and I will restore it you. 16 Now therefore stand and see this great thing, which the LORD will do before your EYES. 1 SAMUEL 14 27 But Jonathan heard not when his father charged the people with the oath: wherefore he put forth the end of the rod that was in his hand, and dipped it in an honeycomb, and put his hand to his mouth; and his EYES were enlightened. 29 Then said Jonathan, My father hath troubled the land: see, I pray you, how mine EYES have been enlightened, because I tasted a little of this honey. 1 SAMUEL 20 3 And David sware moreover, and said, Thy father certainly knoweth that I have found grace in thine EYES; and he saith, Let not Jonathan know this, lest he be grieved: but truly as the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, there is but a step between me and death. 29 And he said, Let me go, I pray thee; for our family hath a sacrifice in the city; and my brother, he hath commanded me to be there: and now, if I have found favour in thine EYES, let me get away, I pray thee, and see my brethren. Therefore he cometh not unto the king's table. 1 SAMUEL 24 10 Behold, this day thine EYES have seen how that the LORD had delivered thee to day into mine hand in the cave: and some bade me kill thee: but mine eye spared thee; and I said, I will not put forth mine hand against my lord; for he is the LORD's anointed. 1 SAMUEL 25 8 Ask thy young men, and they will shew thee. Wherefore let the young men find favour in thine EYES: for we come in a good day: give, I pray thee, whatsoever cometh to thine hand unto thy servants, and to thy son David. 1 SAMUEL 26 21 Then said Saul, I have sinned: return, my son David: for I will no more do thee harm, because my soul was precious in thine EYES this day: behold, I have played the fool, and have erred exceedingly. 24 And, behold, as thy life was much set by this day in mine EYES, so let my life be much set by in the EYES of the LORD, and let him deliver me out of all tribulation. 1 SAMUEL 27 5 And David said unto Achish, If I have now found grace in thine EYES, let them give me a place in some town in the country, that I may dwell there: for why should thy servant dwell in the royal city with thee? --MORE-- |
