EXODUS 14 4 And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians MAY know that I am the LORD. And they did so. 10 And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore AFRAID: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD. 12 Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we MAY serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness. 26 And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters MAY come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen. EXODUS 15 14 The people shall hear, and be AFRAID: sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina. EXODUS 16 4 Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I MAY prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no. 32 And Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commandeth, Fill an omer of it to be kept for your generations; that they MAY see the bread wherewith I have fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you forth from the land of Egypt. EXODUS 17 2 Wherefore the people did chide with Moses, and said, Give us water that we MAY drink. And Moses said unto them, Why chide ye with me? wherefore do ye tempt the LORD? 6 Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people MAY drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel. EXODUS 19 9 And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people MAY hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD. EXODUS 20 12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days MAY be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. 20 And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear MAY be before your faces, that ye sin not. EXODUS 21 14 But if a man come presumptuously upon his neighbour, to slay him with guile; thou shalt take him from mine altar, that he MAY die. EXODUS 23 11 But the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie still; that the poor of thy people MAY eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard. 12 Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest: that thine ox and thine ass MAY rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, MAY be refreshed. EXODUS 25 8 And let them make me a sanctuary; that I MAY dwell among them. 14 And thou shalt put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, that the ark MAY be borne with them. 28 And thou shalt make the staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold, that the table MAY be borne with them. 37 And thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof: and they shall light the lamps thereof, that they MAY give light over against it. EXODUS 26 5 Fifty loops shalt thou make in the one curtain, and fifty loops shalt thou make in the edge of the curtain that is in the coupling of the second; that the loops MAY take hold one of another. 11 And thou shalt make fifty taches of brass, and put the taches into the loops, and couple the tent together, that it MAY be one. EXODUS 27 5 And thou shalt put it under the compass of the altar beneath, that the net MAY be even to the midst of the altar. EXODUS 28 1 And take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he MAY minister unto me in the priest's office, even Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron's sons. 3 And thou shalt speak unto all that are wise hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they MAY make Aaron's garments to consecrate him, that he MAY minister unto me in the priest's office. 4 And these are the garments which they shall make; a breastplate, and an ephod, and a robe, and a broidered coat, a mitre, and a girdle: and they shall make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, and his sons, that he MAY minister unto me in the priest's office. 28 And they shall bind the breastplate by the rings thereof unto the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it MAY be above the curious girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate be not loosed from the ephod. 37 And thou shalt put it on a blue lace, that it MAY be upon the mitre; upon the forefront of the mitre it shall be. 38 And it shall be upon Aaron's forehead, that Aaron MAY bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall hallow in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always upon his forehead, that they MAY be accepted before the LORD. 41 And thou shalt put them upon Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him; and shalt anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they MAY minister unto me in the priest's office. EXODUS 29 46 And they shall know that I am the LORD their God, that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, that I MAY dwell among them: I am the LORD their God. EXODUS 30 16 And thou shalt take the atonement money of the children of Israel, and shalt appoint it for the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; that it MAY be a memorial unto the children of Israel before the LORD, to make an atonement for your souls. 29 And thou shalt sanctify them, that they MAY be most holy: whatsoever toucheth them shall be holy. 30 And thou shalt anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they MAY minister unto me in the priest's office. EXODUS 31 6 And I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they MAY make all that I have commanded thee; 13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye MAY know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you. 15 Six days MAY work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. EXODUS 32 10 Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath MAY wax hot against them, and that I MAY consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation. 29 For Moses had said, Consecrate yourselves today to the LORD, even every man upon his son, and upon his brother; that he MAY bestow upon you a blessing this day. EXODUS 33 5 For the LORD had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiffnecked people: I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I MAY know what to do unto thee. 13 Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I MAY know thee, that I MAY find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people. EXODUS 34 30 And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were AFRAID to come nigh him. EXODUS 35 34 And he hath put in his heart that he MAY teach, both he, and Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan. EXODUS 40 13 And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he MAY minister unto me in the priest's office. 15 And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they MAY minister unto me in the priest's office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations. LEVITICUS 7 24 And the fat of the beast that dieth of itself, and the fat of that which is torn with beasts, MAY be used in any other use: but ye shall in no wise eat of it. 30 His own hands shall bring the offerings of the LORD made by fire, the fat with the breast, it shall he bring, that the breast MAY be waved for a wave offering before the LORD. LEVITICUS 10 10 And that ye MAY put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean; 11 And that ye MAY teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the LORD hath spoken unto them by the hand of Moses. LEVITICUS 11 21 Yet these MAY ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth; 22 Even these of them ye MAY eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind. 34 Of all meat which MAY be eaten, that on which such water cometh shall be unclean: and all drink that MAY be drunk in every such vessel shall be unclean. 39 And if any beast, of which ye MAY eat, die; he that toucheth the carcase thereof shall be unclean until the even. 47 To make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that MAY be eaten and the beast that MAY not be eaten. --MORE-- |
