NUMBERS 15 39 And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye MAY look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring: 40 That ye MAY remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God. NUMBERS 16 21 Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I MAY consume them in a moment. 45 Get you up from among this congregation, that I MAY consume them as in a moment. NUMBERS 19 3 And ye shall give her unto Eleazar the priest, that he MAY bring her forth without the camp, and one shall slay her before his face: NUMBERS 22 3 And Moab was sore AFRAID of the people, because they were many: and Moab was distressed because of the children of Israel. 6 Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, that we MAY smite them, and that I MAY drive them out of the land: for I wot that he whom thou blessest is blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed. 19 Now therefore, I pray you, tarry ye also here this night, that I MAY know what the LORD will say unto me more. NUMBERS 25 4 And the LORD said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before the LORD against the sun, that the fierce anger of the LORD MAY be turned away from Israel. NUMBERS 27 17 Which MAY go out before them, and which MAY go in before them, and which MAY lead them out, and which MAY bring them in; that the congregation of the LORD be not as sheep which have no shepherd. 20 And thou shalt put some of thine honour upon him, that all the congregation of the children of Israel MAY be obedient. NUMBERS 30 13 Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband MAY establish it, or her husband MAY make it void. NUMBERS 31 23 Every thing that MAY abide the fire, ye shall make it go through the fire, and it shall be clean: nevertheless it shall be purified with the water of separation: and all that abideth not the fire ye shall make go through the water. NUMBERS 32 32 We will pass over armed before the LORD into the land of Canaan, that the possession of our inheritance on this side Jordan MAY be ours. NUMBERS 35 6 And among the cities which ye shall give unto the Levites there shall be six cities for refuge, which ye shall appoint for the manslayer, that he MAY flee thither: and to them ye shall add forty and two cities. 11 Then ye shall appoint you cities to be cities of refuge for you; that the slayer MAY flee thither, which killeth any person at unawares. 15 These six cities shall be a refuge, both for the children of Israel, and for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them: that every one that killeth any person unawares MAY flee thither. 17 And if he smite him with throwing a stone, wherewith he MAY die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death. 18 Or if he smite him with an hand weapon of wood, wherewith he MAY die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death. 23 Or with any stone, wherewith a man MAY die, seeing him not, and cast it upon him, that he die, and was not his enemy, neither sought his harm: NUMBERS 36 8 And every daughter, that possesseth an inheritance in any tribe of the children of Israel, shall be wife unto one of the family of the tribe of her father, that the children of Israel MAY enjoy every man the inheritance of his fathers. DEUTERONOMY 1 17 Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; but ye shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be AFRAID of the face of man; for the judgment is God's: and the cause that is too hard for you, bring it unto me, and I will hear it. 29 Then I said unto you, Dread not, neither be AFRAID of them. DEUTERONOMY 2 4 And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be AFRAID of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore: 6 Ye shall buy meat of them for money, that ye MAY eat; and ye shall also buy water of them for money, that ye MAY drink. 28 Thou shalt sell me meat for money, that I MAY eat; and give me water for money, that I MAY drink: only I will pass through on my feet; DEUTERONOMY 4 1 Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye MAY live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers giveth you. 2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye MAY keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you. 10 Specially the day that thou stoodest before the LORD thy God in Horeb, when the LORD said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they MAY learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they MAY teach their children. 40 Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it MAY go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, for ever. DEUTERONOMY 5 1 And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye MAY learn them, and keep, and do them. 5 (I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to shew you the word of the LORD: for ye were AFRAID by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying, 14 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant MAY rest as well as thou. 16 Honour thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days MAY be prolonged, and that it MAY go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. 31 But as for thee, stand thou here by me, and I will speak unto thee all the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which thou shalt teach them, that they MAY do them in the land which I give them to possess it. 33 Ye shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God hath commanded you, that ye MAY live, and that it MAY be well with you, and that ye MAY prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess. DEUTERONOMY 6 2 That thou mightest fear the LORD thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days MAY be prolonged. 3 Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it MAY be well with thee, and that ye MAY increase mightily, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey. 18 And thou shalt do that which is right and good in the sight of the LORD: that it MAY be well with thee, and that thou mayest go in and possess the good land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers. DEUTERONOMY 7 4 For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they MAY serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly. 18 Thou shalt not be AFRAID of them: but shalt well remember what the LORD thy God did unto Pharaoh, and unto all Egypt; 19 The great temptations which thine eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the stretched out arm, whereby the LORD thy God brought thee out: so shall the LORD thy God do unto all the people of whom thou art AFRAID. DEUTERONOMY 8 1 All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye MAY live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers. 18 But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he MAY establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day. DEUTERONOMY 9 5 Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he MAY perform the word which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. 14 Let me alone, that I MAY destroy them, and blot out their name from under heaven: and I will make of thee a nation mightier and greater than they. 19 For I was AFRAID of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith the LORD was wroth against you to destroy you. But the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also. --MORE-- |
