DEUTERONOMY 5 5 (I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to shew you the word of the LORD: for ye were AFRAID by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying, 33 Ye shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God hath commanded you, that ye may LIVE, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess. DEUTERONOMY 7 18 Thou shalt not be AFRAID of them: but shalt well remember what the LORD thy God did unto Pharaoh, and unto all Egypt; 19 The great temptations which thine eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the stretched out arm, whereby the LORD thy God brought thee out: so shall the LORD thy God do unto all the people of whom thou art AFRAID. DEUTERONOMY 8 1 All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may LIVE, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers. 3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not LIVE by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man LIVE. DEUTERONOMY 9 19 For I was AFRAID of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith the LORD was wroth against you to destroy you. But the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also. DEUTERONOMY 12 1 These are the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the land, which the LORD God of thy fathers giveth thee to possess it, all the days that ye LIVE upon the earth. DEUTERONOMY 16 20 That which is altogether just shalt thou follow, that thou mayest LIVE, and inherit the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. DEUTERONOMY 18 22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be AFRAID of him. DEUTERONOMY 19 4 And this is the case of the slayer, which shall flee thither, that he may LIVE: Whoso killeth his neighbour ignorantly, whom he hated not in time past; 5 As when a man goeth into the wood with his neighbour to hew wood, and his hand fetcheth a stroke with the axe to cut down the tree, and the head slippeth from the helve, and lighteth upon his neighbour, that he die; he shall flee unto one of those cities, and LIVE: DEUTERONOMY 20 1 When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. DEUTERONOMY 28 10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be AFRAID of thee. 60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast AFRAID of; and they shall cleave unto thee. DEUTERONOMY 30 6 And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest LIVE. 16 In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest LIVE and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it. 19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may LIVE: DEUTERONOMY 31 6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. 13 And that their children, which have not known any thing, may hear, and learn to fear the LORD your God, as long as ye LIVE in the land whither ye go over Jordan to possess it. DEUTERONOMY 32 40 For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I LIVE for ever. DEUTERONOMY 33 6 Let Reuben LIVE, and not die; and let not his men be few. JOSHUA 1 9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not AFRAID, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. JOSHUA 6 17 And the city shall be accursed, even it, and all that are therein, to the LORD: only Rahab the harlot shall LIVE, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent. JOSHUA 9 15 And Joshua made peace with them, and made a league with them, to let them LIVE: and the princes of the congregation sware unto them. 20 This we will do to them; we will even let them LIVE, lest wrath be upon us, because of the oath which we sware unto them. 21 And the princes said unto them, Let them LIVE; but let them be hewers of wood and drawers of water unto all the congregation; as the princes had promised them. 24 And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore AFRAID of our lives because of you, and have done this thing. JOSHUA 11 6 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not AFRAID because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire. JUDGES 7 3 Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and AFRAID, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand. RUTH 3 8 And it came to pass at midnight, that the man was AFRAID, and turned himself: and, behold, a woman lay at his feet. 1 SAMUEL 4 7 And the Philistines were AFRAID, for they said, God is come into the camp. And they said, Woe unto us! for there hath not been such a thing heretofore. 1 SAMUEL 7 7 And when the Philistines heard that the children of Israel were gathered together to Mizpeh, the lords of the Philistines went up against Israel. And when the children of Israel heard it, they were AFRAID of the Philistines. 1 SAMUEL 17 11 When Saul and all Israel heard those words of the Philistine, they were dismayed, and greatly AFRAID. 24 And all the men of Israel, when they saw the man, fled from him, and were sore AFRAID. 1 SAMUEL 18 12 And Saul was AFRAID of David, because the LORD was with him, and was departed from Saul. 15 Wherefore when Saul saw that he behaved himself very wisely, he was AFRAID of him. 29 And Saul was yet the more AFRAID of David; and Saul became David's enemy continually. 1 SAMUEL 20 14 And thou shalt not only while yet I LIVE shew me the kindness of the LORD, that I die not: 1 SAMUEL 21 1 Then came David to Nob to Ahimelech the priest: and Ahimelech was AFRAID at the meeting of David, and said unto him, Why art thou alone, and no man with thee? 12 And David laid up these words in his heart, and was sore AFRAID of Achish the king of Gath. 1 SAMUEL 23 3 And David's men said unto him, Behold, we be AFRAID here in Judah: how much more then if we come to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines? 1 SAMUEL 28 5 And when Saul saw the host of the Philistines, he was AFRAID, and his heart greatly trembled. 13 And the king said unto her, Be not AFRAID: for what sawest thou? And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth. 20 Then Saul fell straightway all along on the earth, and was sore AFRAID, because of the words of Samuel: and there was no strength in him; for he had eaten no bread all the day, nor all the night. 1 SAMUEL 31 4 Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore AFRAID. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it. 2 SAMUEL 1 10 So I stood upon him, and slew him, because I was sure that he could not LIVE after that he was fallen: and I took the crown that was upon his head, and the bracelet that was on his arm, and have brought them hither unto my lord. 14 And David said unto him, How wast thou not AFRAID to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD's anointed? 2 SAMUEL 6 9 And David was AFRAID of the LORD that day, and said, How shall the ark of the LORD come to me? 2 SAMUEL 12 22 And he said, While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept: for I said, Who can tell whether GOD will be gracious to me, that the child may LIVE? --MORE-- |
