PSALM 109 3 They compassed me about ALSO with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause. 10 Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread ALSO out of their desolate places. 25 I became ALSO a reproach unto them: when they looked upon me they shaked their heads. PSALM 112 7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is FIXED, trusting in the LORD. PSALM 119 3 They ALSO do no iniquity: they walk in his ways. 23 Princes ALSO did sit and speak against me: but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes. 24 Thy testimonies ALSO are my delight and my counsellors. 41 Let thy mercies come ALSO unto me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy word. 46 I will speak of thy testimonies ALSO before kings, and will not be ashamed. 48 My hands ALSO will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes. PSALM 132 12 If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall ALSO sit upon thy throne for evermore. 16 I will ALSO clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy. PSALM 139 17 How precious ALSO are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! PSALM 141 5 Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer ALSO shall be in their calamities. PSALM 145 19 He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he ALSO will hear their cry, and will save them. PSALM 148 6 He hath ALSO stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass. 14 He ALSO exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the LORD. PROVERBS 1 26 I ALSO will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; PROVERBS 9 2 She hath killed her beasts; she hath mingled her wine; she hath ALSO furnished her table. PROVERBS 11 25 The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered ALSO himself. PROVERBS 17 26 ALSO to punish the just is not good, nor to strike princes for equity. PROVERBS 18 3 When the wicked cometh, then cometh ALSO contempt, and with ignominy reproach. 9 He ALSO that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great waster. PROVERBS 21 13 Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he ALSO shall cry himself, but shall not be heard. PROVERBS 23 23 Buy the truth, and sell it not; ALSO wisdom, and instruction, and understanding. 28 She ALSO lieth in wait as for a prey, and increaseth the transgressors among men. PROVERBS 24 23 These things ALSO belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment. PROVERBS 25 1 These are ALSO proverbs of Solomon, which the men of Hezekiah king of Judah copied out. PROVERBS 26 4 Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou ALSO be like unto him. PROVERBS 28 16 The prince that wanteth understanding is ALSO a great oppressor: but he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days. PROVERBS 31 15 She riseth ALSO while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. 28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband ALSO, and he praiseth her. ECCLESIASTES 1 5 The sun ALSO ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place where he arose. 17 And I gave my heart to know wisdom, and to know madness and folly: I perceived that this ALSO is vexation of spirit. ECCLESIASTES 2 1 I said in mine heart, Go to now, I will prove thee with mirth, therefore enjoy pleasure: and, behold, this ALSO is vanity. 7 I got me servants and maidens, and had servants born in my house; ALSO I had great possessions of great and small cattle above all that were in Jerusalem before me: 8 I gathered me ALSO silver and gold, and the peculiar treasure of kings and of the provinces: I gat me men singers and women singers, and the delights of the sons of men, as musical instruments, and that of all sorts. 9 So I was great, and increased more than all that were before me in Jerusalem: ALSO my wisdom remained with me. 14 The wise man's eyes are in his head; but the fool walketh in darkness: and I myself perceived ALSO that one event happeneth to them all. 15 Then said I in my heart, As it happeneth to the fool, so it happeneth even to me; and why was I then more wise? Then I said in my heart, that this ALSO is vanity. 19 And who knoweth whether he shall be a wise man or a fool? yet shall he have rule over all my labour wherein I have laboured, and wherein I have shewed myself wise under the sun. This is ALSO vanity. 21 For there is a man whose labour is in wisdom, and in knowledge, and in equity; yet to a man that hath not laboured therein shall he leave it for his portion. This ALSO is vanity and a great evil. 23 For all his days are sorrows, and his travail grief; yea, his heart taketh not rest in the night. This is ALSO vanity. 24 There is nothing better for a man, than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labour. This ALSO I saw, that it was from the hand of God. 26 For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. This ALSO is vanity and vexation of spirit. ECCLESIASTES 3 11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: ALSO he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. 13 And ALSO that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God. ECCLESIASTES 4 4 Again, I considered all travail, and every right work, that for this a man is envied of his neighbour. This is ALSO vanity and vexation of spirit. 8 There is one alone, and there is not a second; yea, he hath neither child nor brother: yet is there no end of all his labour; neither is his eye satisfied with riches; neither saith he, For whom do I labour, and bereave my soul of good? This is ALSO vanity, yea, it is a sore travail. 14 For out of prison he cometh to reign; whereas ALSO he that is born in his kingdom becometh poor. 16 There is no end of all the people, even of all that have been before them: they ALSO that come after shall not rejoice in him. Surely this ALSO is vanity and vexation of spirit. --MORE-- |
