JEREMIAH 9 1 Oh that my head were waters, and mine EYES a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people! 18 And let them make haste, and take up a wailing for us, that our EYES may run down with tears, and our eyelids gush out with waters. EZEKIEL 18 6 And hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his EYES to the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbour's wife, neither hath come near to a menstruous woman, 12 Hath oppressed the poor and needy, hath spoiled by violence, hath not restored the pledge, and hath lifted up his EYES to the idols, hath committed abomination, 15 That hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his EYES to the idols of the house of Israel, hath not defiled his neighbour's wife, EZEKIEL 20 7 Then said I unto them, Cast ye away every man the abominations of his EYES, and defile not yourselves with the idols of Egypt: I am the LORD your God. 8 But they rebelled against me, and would not hearken unto me: they did not every man cast away the abominations of their EYES, neither did they forsake the idols of Egypt: then I said, I will pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt. 24 Because they had not executed my judgments, but had despised my statutes, and had polluted my sabbaths, and their EYES were after their fathers' idols. EZEKIEL 21 6 Sigh therefore, thou son of man, with the breaking of thy loins; and with bitterness sigh before their EYES. EZEKIEL 22 26 Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their EYES from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. EZEKIEL 23 16 And as soon as she saw them with her EYES, she doted upon them, and sent messengers unto them into Chaldea. 27 Thus will I make thy lewdness to cease from thee, and thy whoredom brought from the land of Egypt: so that thou shalt not lift up thine EYES unto them, nor remember Egypt any more. 40 And furthermore, that ye have sent for men to come from far, unto whom a messenger was sent; and, lo, they came: for whom thou didst wash thyself, paintedst thy EYES, and deckedst thyself with ornaments, EZEKIEL 24 16 Son of man, behold, I take away from thee the desire of thine EYES with a stroke: yet neither shalt thou mourn nor weep, neither shall thy tears run down. 21 Speak unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the excellency of your strength, the desire of your EYES, and that which your soul pitieth; and your sons and your daughters whom ye have left shall fall by the sword. 25 Also, thou son of man, shall it not be in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their EYES, and that whereupon they set their minds, their sons and their daughters, EZEKIEL 33 25 Wherefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Ye eat with the blood, and lift up your EYES toward your idols, and shed blood: and shall ye possess the land? EZEKIEL 36 23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their EYES. EZEKIEL 37 20 And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their EYES. EZEKIEL 38 16 And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their EYES. 23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the EYES of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD. EZEKIEL 40 4 And the man said unto me, Son of man, behold with thine EYES, and hear with thine ears, and set thine heart upon all that I shall shew thee; for to the intent that I might shew them unto thee art thou brought hither: declare all that thou seest to the house of Israel. --MORE-- |
