ISAIAH 13 4 The NOISE of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous NOISE of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle. 8 And they shall be AFRAID: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. ISAIAH 14 11 Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the NOISE of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee. ISAIAH 17 2 The cities of Aroer are forsaken: they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them AFRAID. 12 Woe to the multitude of many people, which make a NOISE like the NOISE of the seas; and to the rushing of nations, that make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters! JEREMIAH 11 16 The LORD called thy name, A green olive tree, fair, and of goodly fruit: with the NOISE of a great tumult he hath kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken. JEREMIAH 25 31 A NOISE shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the LORD. JEREMIAH 46 17 They did cry there, Pharaoh king of Egypt is but a NOISE; he hath passed the time appointed. 27 But fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make him AFRAID. JEREMIAH 47 3 At the NOISE of the stamping of the hoofs of his strong horses, at the rushing of his chariots, and at the rumbling of his wheels, the fathers shall not look back to their children for feebleness of hands; JEREMIAH 49 21 The earth is moved at the NOISE of their fall, at the cry the NOISE thereof was heard in the Red sea. JEREMIAH 50 46 At the NOISE of the taking of Babylon the earth is moved, and the cry is heard among the nations. JEREMIAH 51 55 Because the LORD hath spoiled Babylon, and destroyed out of her the great voice; when her waves do roar like great waters, a NOISE of their voice is uttered: LAMENTATIONS 2 7 The LORD hath cast off his altar, he hath abhorred his sanctuary, he hath given up into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have made a NOISE in the house of the LORD, as in the day of a solemn feast.
